    I think Fifa have jumped the gun here a bit, or Barca have totally ignored the dealings of under age players into La Masia. As I said previously, the Eu law could well be there to protect selling clubs, rather than the young players. Many clubs around Europe are known to bring in young kids...

    I think the Eu law states that a player under 18 cannot sign a pro contract until he is 18. If Barca signed players under 18 and didn't pay money for them, then it could be a problem, as it means Barca are poaching while the selling club gets no compensation.
