    Jack Wilshere

Did anyone see his touch before his pass to Podolski before Walcott's goal aganist West Ham? It was absolutely out of this world.

    Tom Cleverley

Both raw and inconsistent, but I'd place Chamberlain above Sterling, for now. Even in a statistical sense Sterling far behind what Chamberlain was doing last season (comparing last season to account for fact Sterling's first season at top, and he's a year younger)

Wouldn't play Walcott up front or Wilshere on the left. We'd probably play the best football we've ever played if we played: --------Carrick--------- Cleverley-------Wilshere Theo----Rooney-----Ox Obviously Rooney can come deep like he tends to, and Theo can get in behind the defence...

    Tom Cleverley

Just looked at it. Not bad! Although, I wouldn't play Walker at right back or Johnson, for that matter. Think both earn plaudits for their attacking play and are very suspect defensively. I did like the inclusion of Shaw though. He is going to be a massive player! Think we have LB covered for...

Hahah just noticed! I wouldn't mind Caulker in there until Jones/Smalling is ready. I'm really impressed with him as a defender. Defends well and can distribute very well from the back. And nope, I'll look for it now!

I'd start letting this team grow together for England personally: Hart - Jenkinson Smalling Jones Gibbs - Carrick Wilshere - Theo Rooney Chamberlain - Welbeck With Butland, Walker, Caulker, Shelvey, Cleverley, McEachran, Barkley, Zaha, Sterling, Defoe etc to support. Need to start using more...

    Tom Cleverley

Perhaps you're right, he's a regular for one of the biggest sporting franchises in the world, so he's definitely got talent. But considering players like Thiago/Isco/Oscar/Wilshere/Leitner, who set the bar very high at a young age, I don't think he's quite up there, despite being years older...

    Arsenal

He's been on a bad patch of form this season - his first bad patch really since he joined us back in 2007 - but every player has a bad run of form, whether it's Ashley Cole or Dani Alves. It's understandable though, he had 2 serious leg breaks last year, and now his long-term future lies in the...

    Tom Cleverley

Severely overrated, in my opinion. He'll of course improve as he plays for Manchester United, but he wouldn't even make the bench for clubs with midfields like Barca, Madrid, Bayern etc. And at 23, that's not very good...

    Jack Wilshere

Yeah, thought Bac and Ramsey were particularly good. Other than that, pretty lacklustre.

Barcelona will use a Catalan based away kit next year.

Love the Catalan flag on those socks!

    Jack Wilshere

Getting fouled and getting tackled are two different things though. Getting fouled means the opposition didn't win the ball, getting tackled means they did. I'm getting these stats from opta, and they say he didn't lose the ball once. I thought he had a fantastic game - one of his best yet...

    Sergio Busquets

Busquets is so under-appreciated by the rest of the world due to his reputation of being a play actor. Makes me furious when people don't even consider him at being the best in the world in his position. I actually think he's just as important to this current side as Messi is. Breaks up up...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

M'Vila's on his way to QPR as well, apparently. They'll still get relegated though, so a 6 month show on the shop window for both players, really. Both likely to have relegation release clauses..

    Cristian Tello

You read Pep's biography? Mentions how his relationship to players were too close in the latter years, so had too much faith on a personal level in players like Tello and Cuenca.
  17. gunnerthoughts

    Cristian Tello

Am I the only one that doesn't see Tello staying beyond the summer? Contract just so he can be sold for better value, in my opinion. Don't see him around with the likes of Pedro, Alexis, Villa, Iniesta around now Deulofeu and maybe Neymar in the future, too.

    Arsenal

I wish we'd just resign Sagna - seriously annoying me. Not 3 RB's in the world have been as dominant as him for the past 5 years straight. Has it all, he does. Would go as far as to say that he's our only world class player in terms of consistency and ability, so very frustrating we're not...

    Jack Wilshere

He in fact was dispossessed 0 times, and committed 0 turnovers. He also only misplaced 5 passes, so he never 'lost it quite often'. If you're referring to getting fouled, he was fouled a whopping 7 times. But that doesn't count as losing the ball.
