    Real Madrid

Endrick is really a piece of work. His tackles on Konate were a sign of a petulant child. Sooner or later , he's going to get injured by a tackle and that's when he's going to get his karma.

    Liverpool

Anyway this thread shows how things change within 10 years with the right hires. Credit to Liverpool for doing the job well.

    Liverpool

And not to mention he fits Flickball perfectly. Someone who played under Klopp as a keeper would well under the demands that Flick will put on his way.

    Liverpool

He'll be the starting keeper for any other club except Man City and Arsenal in the premier league. He's on par with Raya too.

    Liverpool

Impressed with Kelleher. He's seemingly available for a nice affordable fee at the end of the season. Salary demands won't be excessive either. Makes top saves. We should be all over him. He's only the #2 keeper for Liverpool because they've got Alisson Becker.

    Philippe Coutinho

He isn't obligated to lower his wages. If he wants to do it for the club voluntarily , that's a different matter. But he's not obligated to Barcelona.

    Philippe Coutinho

Blame the guys who thought a luxury player like him would fit in to a Barcelona side which already had Messi playing nearly in Coutinho's preferred position. And then the package offered to Coutinho. We were suckered into the deal. Sucked into making the deals(Coutinho/Dembele) by mainly the...

    Philippe Coutinho

Why should he? He's within his rights to demand full salary for his entire period of the contract.

    Philippe Coutinho

I'd still go as far as to say that while LFC have improved immensely from selling Coutinho, Adding the likes of VVD + Alisson , They exactly haven't been able to replace him. The scoring from a distance was one of Phil's greatest strengths at Liverpool.

    Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho was immense for Liverpool. But he's not going to repeat that at Barca. The time for that is long past.

    Josep Maria Bartomeu

Sleazebag. Scum. Sleazy Barty moniker fits so well for him. Wholly responsible for the state of Barca right now.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Barca's finances were dicey even pre-covid. I'd blame Bartomeu entirely for this mess. I do believe Laporta had confidence that the La Liga would fold and make an exception. Quite a lot of La Liga TV rights revenue comes because of having stars of the caliber of Messi and Ronaldo in the league...

    Luis Suárez

Want to post more often here but the knee jerk reactions and the inability to have a sane convo with most of the fans here doesnt make it worth my time.

    Luis Suárez

I think you rate Koeman as a coach far too highly. I've seen him losing his marbles at everton when granted a budget As of now, AM has a great coach, working system and a good defense with some guaranteed strikers upfront. I think they are well placed to fight in the top 3.

    Luis Suárez

What's true is that the easiest option at Barca when attacking seems to be to pass the ball to Messi. Suarez was and probably still a world class #9 who can play both as a coplete striker or as a false 9 as per the team preference.

    Luis Suárez

Good luck Luis. Thanks for the memories.

    Luis Suárez

some Ppl might be despising Suarez now(I don't) but he's done more than his bit for Barca...For Barty to renege on a prev agreed statement is pathetic.

    Mohamed Salah

Mane's by far the most talented attacker at Liverpool. Roberto is the glue that makes the attack. Of the three, It's actually Salah who's the most expendable.
  19. C

    Thiago Translantara

Klopp likes players who can play in multiple positions. He's also been increasingly using the 4-2-3-1 formation too as a plan B.
  20. C

    Gini Wijnaldum

Add the second options being Milner, Jones, Minamino. Liverpool are pretty stocked in midfield, What they needed was a bit of flair to unlock the teams which play 3 at the back with 2 wingbacks, and with thiago and the way Jones and Minamino are shaping up, They will have that.
