    Malcom

Malcom might have been mismanaged, but his overall performance was still underwhelming for me. Problem is Dembele is still better, Coutinho on paper is supposed to be better. Both of those were major investments from the club and benching them for long strides was costly to that investments...

    Jasper Cillessen

Pau is actually very good Liga GK. For a back up GK he is more than enough. Only problem for me is his price. If he is 10-15M it is ok, more than that it is overpay as he isn't the kind of guy that is likely to land us good price when he eventually wants out.

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

This is sad really, and not a good look for our fan base either THIS

    Yaya Toure

Pogba could have been a Yaya type of DM, have all the tools and more. Except the mentality Which says a lot considering Yaya was a spoiled brick himself. Not sure Ndombele is anything close to Yaya's level though. We were lucky to have a player like him and Busquets at same time

    7 - Philippe Coutinho - V1

I've blamed EV for Coutinho signing here since almost October. And not many actually agree he sucks. And who to blame? coach obviously, but also the lack of alternatives. Dembele benched Coutinho when he was good, he then sucked. We left with Malcom who sucks half of the time, and with playing...

    7 - Philippe Coutinho - V1

I can't believe anyone still blaming the coach for his form. Players need to held accountable, Coutinho had the worst dip in form of all team members, he played in his position and team tried to adapt and support as much as they can. Players don't lose ability to dribble, shoot, or pass just...

    Matthijs de Ligt

It was explained earlier by one of our Dutch members that Raiola isn't his agent. His agent is an old -formerly retired- Dutch agent who is friend of his dad. He hired Raiola to act as mediator for potential transfers. Don't see how this could affect any transfer

    Bruno Fernandes

Does this mean they are out of Felix race?

Which approach should Barca follow in the summer?

So after the embarrassment against Liverpool we are gonna hear a lot of talking about our transfer, that we are going after player x or player y etc The question for me, should we look for a youth movement in attempt to rebuild? or we should go all in trying to win as much next couple of years...

    11 - Ousmane Dembélé - V1

Dembele wasn't the problem, but he wasn't the solution either. As I said before, he will get benefit of the doubt thanks to his age, but next season should be a make or break for him. Will be his 5th season at senior level and 3rd in top club. He will need to make a much bigger impact with us...

    Luis Suárez

Obviously, no player should be benched if he is still best player in his position in the team. EV was given Paco to compete with Suarez, then Munir, then Boateng. Suarez was given easier competition as times goes by should change. But I prefer another year of him than making a very wrong and...

    Luis Suárez

he shouldn't leave, but he should be benched. If he leaves it means we need a back up striker and a new starter. He has 2 years left anyway, as long we don't renew him I am ok. And tbh, I would prefer Suarez over signing Griezmann

    Antoine Griezmann

This is the same reasons that made us sign Coutinho. Signing just based on quality is good if you are playing FIFA, not in real life. Player has to fit into your system and the players beside them especially when you are going to join a superior player

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

Are you drunk or something? I've been one of Laporta's biggest fans on this forum since the day I've joined??!!

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

I know Laporta couldn't run, but he endorsed another candidate and was on good term with another one. They elected a guy that was basically treating Laporta like Trump talking about Obama Zubi was far from perfect, but he had more of a project and always tried to connect pieces of the buzzle...

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

Klopp is the perfect example of what I am saying, he once talked about signing Salah, saying that the scouting department has confirmed to him that he is a player who fits his ideas and what he wants. It isn't just he says"I want player x, and they bring it to him" Same was happening in BVB...

    Ernesto Valverde - V1

EnjoyBlanc Here is the problem, managers need a certain level of control, sporting director along scouting department need another role. Managers can't play both, if you do it you end up with a managers thinking signing Ibra/Chygrynskiy/Vidal/Arda is a good idea. This worked in Barca between...

    7 - Philippe Coutinho - V1

Better is simply not enough. That is the key judging a player like Coutinho going forward.

    7 - Philippe Coutinho - V1

And Paco & Gomes wasn't 3rd most expensive players in football or most expensive player in the league history either. We are risking too much if we hold to him IMHO. Another season like this and it may end like James and RM. a loan with an option to buy that will never get exercised

    Clément Lenglet

Umtiti has lost fans for many reasons. Him stalling contract renewal and talking to other clubs, him refusing to accept the club medical advice that cost him a year etc. All happened while he was in bad form. But before that, he was one of the most popular players in this forum. Back to...
