    Premier League 24/25

Good win for Forest last night. They're doing well. Their goal prior to the season was likely to survive and they're already virtually halfway there with 16 points after 8 games. Only one loss in nine is very good for a team like Forest - let's see if they can maintain.

    Erik ten Hag

Hahaha I posted the same thing. That is one of the most baffling things I have ever seen a coach say - they were getting totally destroyed before the red card and 1-0 flattered them at that point.

Thanks mate. Appreciate you informing me and posting it for me. I will know for next time.

    Xavi Hernández

Agree on Rashford and Garnacho, though the latter still has hope as he's young. But he drastically needs to improve his touch and football IQ. Onana has been quite good so far this season to be fair to him. But it tells its own story that one of their better players has been the GK. Fernandes...

    Xavi Hernández

Yes I agree. Ten Hag is poor but the quality of their squad is average on a good day. If they think getting rid of Ten Hag is the key to vast improvement with this squad then I think they're in for a rude awakening. Personally, I think they're in denial. They're scared they're miles off...

He is losing the plot more and more (sorry it's not linking directly to the video, not sure what is happening). https://x.com/i/status/1849810823792697617

Is anyone of y'all from New Zealand?

No I am not, but welcome to the site. Good to have you here.

In November. It might be a good game to watch.

    Hans-Dieter Flick

They hate Barcelona, and it's 100 percent PTSD from the two CL Finals under Pep. As for Messi - there are Messi fans there, but the ones who don't like him are the Ronaldo sycophants. After Ronaldo screwed United over before the World Cup a lot turned on him, but there were and are some who...

    Hans-Dieter Flick

I am not on Redcafe, Smiler - I have had the odd account just to make a post, and then leave, but I just lurk it. I have probably made ten posts there in 16 years over a few accounts. I will never make one again, though. I like to read different football forums, though a lot of the time it's...

Slot has got you more controlled and very settled down which I like. I did watch the Leipzig highlights and it looks like you conceded a lot of chances to them. It could have been the way the highlights were edited though to make it seem like Leipzig applied lots of pressure. How long is...

    Iñaki Peña (loaned to Elche)

One of my favourite films. Both the short European cut and the longer American one. Half the time the guy handles the ball like he's playing in the snow.

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Fair enough. I think Rodri is the best player in the world (when fit) and he is extremely important to them. I still think they might be able to do it without him though. But you may well be right. Time will tell. I wouldn't put my house on them winning it, that's for sure. Boring as fuck but...

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Fair enough points on the first paragraph possibly yeah. Maybe myself and Smiler have a more pessimistic outlook. As for the second, I don't think you can overlook Man City. They are always there or thereabouts. I know they're in an average moment right now performance-wise but they tend to...

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Yes I agree La Liga is more likely. It's boring to say But Man City and Real Madrid are still the favourites for the CL based on recent seasons as well as how they get the job done, and the players they have. I feel Barca lack the experience as of yet. They could win the CL, but I agree that the...

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Yes it is still early days. But the signs are definitely good for Barcelona right now. Much work to be done though as you imply mate - the hard part of the season is yet to come. With the young profile of the team it is a while away from peaking, likely several years, and there's always turnover...

    10 - Lamine Yamal

Yeah you make fair enough points there. I am not FULLY convinced, but definitely what you say is very reasonable to say and makes sense. Redcafe can be good when it's not about United or their rivals or anything like that, as it is brutally biased towards their own team. There are a lot of very...

    10 - Lamine Yamal

So I read through this earlier - a lot of interesting stuff, good discussion points, and some hot takes I wasn't sure of too. But overall it was a good discussion that I liked reading. I notice you said Yamal is not on Neymar's level technically. I am not convinced about that and I am one of...

    Iñigo Martínez

Yeah I usually like and agree with a good amount of what jamrock says too, Zeni. I have liked Kimmich for a long time, but he is getting older, has more injury issues, and does appear to be on the slide a bit. I also think his composure under pressure looks worse than it used to, whether he's...

    Manchester United

They really should have lost again tonight, lol. They did make mistakes themselves though - Dalot has awful positioning and his decision to cross to Rash instead of Hojlund (latter was in a better position) in the second half was criminal.
