    Ronald Koeman

i think the excuse about squad depth is overrated in this case. we had two games against some mediocre sides and we handled both games poorly. barely scraped through on penalties, against a sociedad side in free-fall. let's not forget that it took koemman until christmas to get his shit...

    Ousmane Dembélé

should sell him and griezmann quickly before the transfer window closes. we might never get another opportunity to have both injury free and in some kind of form.

    Óscar Mingueza

you're following me like the plague, boy. it wasn't reactionary as i wasn't the one expecting mingueza to be any good. always said he is segunda or bottom la liga player. was just pointing out that people have unrealistic expectations about some young players and then they trash them.

    Ronald Koeman

copa might be an objective, if we get lucky with draws. but personally don't see this team having the kill factor to pull out important wins. vs psg will have to limit the score, that's all. imagine neymar/mbappe running at the likes of dest/mingueza/araujo/lenglet/alba

    Óscar Mingueza

this forum never ceases to amaze me. a young lad is thrown into a position he shouldn't be in. plays well in some easy games that we win comfortably. and suddenly gets praised and comparisons with ramos and puyol start. starts to show his real level in a tougher game and now he is oleguer mk 2...

    Antoine Griezmann

sell him now as he is in some kind of form. once tougher games come in he'll revert to his usual self.

    Sergiño Dest

told you he is average. hasn't impressed in any meaningful game.

also positioning needs to be worked on. maybe pique could help him with that.

    Ronald Koeman

we got lucky to hit some form with those easy games, but when the chips are down we crumble. season well and truly over. shit players, shit manager.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Hope? Nah, he's gonna kill those bums.

    Mavericky Puig

koeman is your countryman, we get it. no need to brag after getting one up vs sociedad in the supercup, especially when we had an overall bad game and barely won on penalties. furthermore, koeman hasn't achieved anything yet. we're on a good run now, after some relatively easy games.

we get some wrong and some right. umtiti was a young star and he was very good until that world cup. just sticking with some players in defense that haven't proven anything doesn't mean they'll turn out good. at this point we have or will have 4 CBs that haven't demonstrated much or it is too...

looking good for what? finishing in the top 4 and not winning anything? are we the new arsenal?

    Trincão

the real question is - would wolves still take him?
  16. malvolio

    Frenkie de Jong

we'll have to find a midfielder that can complement him and pedri. right now we hardly control games and de jong is more of an energetic type of midfielder than rakitic was. grandpa pjanic should have been an option as controller, but seems to be useless.

Spanish Super Cup 1/2 Final: Real Sociedad - FC Barcelona 1-1 (2-3 pen.)

the problem i see here is that de jong is not the guy to control a game. he seems to shine in this type of games, when we are trading blows. so we'll have to see what midfielder should replace busquets and how pedri develops. right now midfield is too unbalanced.

    Antoine Griezmann

a man of taste i see. junior soprano approves of this comment where is serghei to tell us how poor antoine was bullied by messi and suarez? all the bullshit theories are falling like dominoes. exactly! said it many times - the guy stole a living by pretending to be worldclass. a couple...

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

first to buckle my ass. gets his goal bombarded by worldclass forwards in CL KOs and you suddenly want him to be the messiah. when we had a good team and won the CL with him in goal, nobody complained. people go from one extreme to another with him. he is just fine.

    4 - Ronald McDonald Araújo

impressive game from him. very good physical attributes, but still unpolished on other technical aspects. hopefully he grows into the role and cements his starting position. otherwise, not a bad option to have on the bench if we get a star CB in the summer.
