They aren't that talented, and are overachiever. I've been consistent in that. You are basing your argument based on opinion on the coach, and fitting everything else for that narrative. Bilbao squad isn't much better, if any, than Betis, Villarreal or Sociedad. Betis after Jan window is now the 4th best with wide margin as they massively improved their attack. It is the same case with Simeone's Atletico, where people overrate players thanks to manager work, and then blame him...- khaled_a_d

False 9 is your best bet, the later is essentially a playmaker for your wingers and AM, who will do the scoring while he does some playmaking or open spaces with them. Motta used him that way, but Manu needed a scoring beast.- khaled_a_d

Wasn't there an EPL when no English player featured from both sides? And the English NT manager was in the stands? Chelsea vs Arsenal iirc. It happened later many times in EPL that one side doesn't feature English player. That is Bosman's side effect- khaled_a_d

Depth is my hope. Get guys like Mingueza and Gaya for fullbacks, Tah and a good winger, while renewing most of the players we need to renew. I also expect Torre & Christensen to leave, potentially Inaki Pena too. Fati is likely to get loaned but we will likely to pay his wages.- khaled_a_d
