    Philippe Coutinho

I think we will take whatever will get offered on permanent sale over loans, even 5M. Doesn't make sense to loan if a permanent offer comes, since he will be 30 with one year left in contract in 2022. Loan would mean no one interested

Should Barca hire Xavi as their next manager?

He has one year left in contract anyway. And we will try to win next season, that is why we are signing some veterans like Aguero/Depay to replace some of the out going. The decision to move some veterans should start from the above IMO. Tell Pique to move on, tell Busquets and Roberto it is...

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

That is verty true. But I think there is a next level scouting, when it isn't something we are putting on archive but actually the decision makers are watching the players themselves, asking scouts to do multiple trips etc.

    Luis Suárez

That is nice from both of you

Umtiti not on Barca, he had injuries before and rejected our advices. But this year, MATS, Fati & Coutinho all going under the knife for 2nd time, all had 1st surgery with Cougat, all has 2nd surgery with different surgeon Something not right tbh

    Ronald Koeman

So, he doesn't count on the old ones next year?

    Mavericky Puig

It is one thing to the talk, another to walk the walk. Easy to take words from Xavi couple of years ago, means nothing in terms of who he is going to play when he sees them in the training. Never mind Xavi isn't yet announced as our next coach

    Ronald Koeman

Hence the "shitty ending " part.
  9. khaled_a_d

    Ronald Koeman

Nah, overall better season than expected. Just a shitty ending. That is a whole other argument than should he continue or not. But overall, the season wasn't bad for expectations

Should Barca hire Xavi as their next manager?

Nope. Doubt he is ready, not with many former teammates in the squad Edit: My first choice will be getting Lucho back.

Ernesto Valverde: An Analysis of his tenure

EV was hired as someone who gives trust to youth and to be able to retool Barca. That was his pre-Barca reputation The idea that a core of Neymar (25) Verratti as new signing (24) Umtiti (24) MATS (23) will be able to take the torch from aging squad. With young players like Denis or Gomes...

tbf, football fans are ageist, this has been the case for decades.

    Matthijs de Ligt

De Ligt worst fit would be EPL. If he leaves Juve he is better at Spain or Bayern

    Mavericky Puig

It is his instincts tbf Look at 1st post in this thread: He is naturally an attacking direct player. His instincts is always to move forward

    Ronald Koeman

We were after Flick and he responded that he agreed to join NT.

    Serie A

Atlanta officially qualified. Milan not getting 3pts out of last 6 will be epic fail. Right now it seems Juve vs Napoli, but a loss from Milan today could change the tune

    Serie A

I think Napoli has tie breaker over Juve, so Juve also need to win last game and Napoli loses to qualify.

    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

For a team full of youth (22 or under) it is really difficult. Tough to build a winning culture needed while putting priority on player improvement
