@DonAK @xavi_the_Boss Honestly Barca's 60%-70% possession every game is mostly the midfield.. it hardly ever goes back to the keeper and WHEN it does i'm pretty sure Courtois knows how to pass it back out.. Why are we talking Courtois down so much like he can't pass a ball? 9/10 would say that... -

@Flavia I can't speak from experience of watching either but how do you justify 9 clean sheets in 34 games? For a Barca team who needs to tighten up at the back.. and Mönchengladbach can't be THAT BAD if they came 6th? How does his qualities outshine those stats? -

@ceefoo Of course, I think putting a 22 year old in net is way riskier than a 22 year old up front. Courtois has proved himself so maybe, but after last season we don't need risks.. just a solid keeper. For me Stegan doesn't have enough experience and pedigree to have proved himself a Barca... -

I wish I had your optimism! Just my initial thought with Stegan is we are hoping too much that this gamble pays off and that his age, passing and saves/goal ratio's etc works out for Barca.. I'm unsure on the availability of GKs but i would have chosen Courtois, Reina, De Gea.. for a start they... -

@barca1899 We can agree that Bayern's style which won them the league in record time (unbeaten) and destroyed every team IN the German league came unstuck against a 3rd place Madrid team which leads me to believe that the Spanish league is quite a bit ahead of the German league this season..
