Group G: Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA

Yeah Gyan and Ayew were class.. I hope they give them a good game. Ghana will try to win it as they can still proceed.

Group G: Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA

Be cruel for USA to go out now.. I hope USA vs Germany is a draw.. but if Portugal do win which is expected a 5 goal swing is needed for them to catch USA's +1 goal difference against Portugal's -4 goal difference.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

@Luftstalag14 It's physically impossible to score goals against teams who put 10 men behind the ball.. Even more so when your midfield doesn't have any real vision or passing ability. Comparing Suarez vs England and Messi vs Iran is like chalk and cheese.. The Uruguay vs England game was 50/50...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Exactly, disappointing really.. He's literally got to bring the ball out of midfield himself to start any attack. I do feel with a more even game they will get more chances to attack. Whether they can defend or not is a different matter.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

He probably looks like he's not trying because he HAS to stand around to receive the ball.. Gago and Mascherano don't exactly have amazing vision and passing ability. Di Maria does but has yet to show his full potential yet. Imagine if Messi played with someone like Pirlo.. he would get get at...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

@NotInHere Yeah the defence of Argentina isn't the strongest.. but if Argentina are put in a situation where they don't have a lot of the ball they could be one of the most dangerous teams on the counter attack in the World Cup. We will have to see though.. Good luck Messi!!!

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Want to see some movement from Messi today running in space etc.. Hate it when he is static, it frustrates me so much. C'mon Messi!!!!!

    Gonzalo Higuain

Based on 18m for Rakitic I doubt we've offered 55m for Higuain. I'd take him for 40m.

    Martin Montoya

@Zangash You have a point saying it's unfair looking at Montoya against Ronaldo and Real Madrid.. But on the other hand in a league like La Liga it's the big games that count as was proven at the end of the season, look how tight it was. There's a lot of RBs who could start for Barca and play...

    2014 World Cup General Chat

@linetty Agreed should be a great match if Mexico stay true to there style and don't let the fact Brazil are playing on home soil get to them. Should have been an easy 3-0 against Cameroon no thanks to the ref.. Played some great football. The ref is Turkish called Cuneyt Cakir.

    Barça's Transfers and Rumors

Great performance by Hummels.. would be a great signing. Higuain would give us a different dimension also, especially for Rakitic's crosses and long balls.

Group B: Spain, Netherlands, Chile, Australia

Spain were better in the first half than Brazil were for the full 90. Spain just crumbled in the second half. They won't be as bad as that again for the rest of the tournament after that wake up call.

    Ivan Rakitić

@spark His other 7 goals were still better than Fabregas' 8 goals. Against Barca and Real. While playing for Sevilla......

    Ivan Rakitić

Fabregas is world class against weaker teams. That's why his stats look so good. Look at Fabregas' 8 goals he scored this season against average/weaker teams in games where the goals didn't affect the final score. He looks a completely different player and lost against harder teams. Sevilla 1 -...

    Ivan Rakitić

Sevilla were a completely different team this season under Emery.. He was able to show his qualities and prove how good he is because of the players and system around him.. which leads me to believe he will be even better for Barca. I haven't watched him much for Croatia but a lot of people on...
