    Big respect to Kane. Top player. Doesn’t bother me in the slightest that he overtook Messi... calendar year means nothing other than towards personal awards. For the people it does bother remember Messi got 91 in 69 games. An outrageous amount which I can’t see being broken for a long time.

    Not a chance selling Deulofeu now, we’ve committed to him for at least another 2 years by buying him back I think. We’re not ruthless enough. Even though there’s so many wingers who are better than him. It’s just getting them to accept a bench role.

    I get both sides of the argument. At 2-0 down with 11 men Madrid could have still come back. They had a couple of half chances with 10 men. But in that split second you more than likely would handball it.

    I believe it was the wrong choice. Zidane played on the fact that we only scored one goal in two legs of the Supercup, put it down to Kovacic being in the midfield and tried it again. Supercups are nothing to go by. It’s basically pre season just like when we lost 4-0 to Bilbao.. means...

    And Kovacic was who started instead of Isco... that was my whole point. The 2nd half Madrid were terrible in midfield even before the red.. we weren’t even trying that hard either, passing round at the back mostly. A more aggressive Barca of the past could have made that game 5-0.
