Bang goes my dream of seeing a back line of Dudek Salgado - Ramos - Metzelder - Drenthe in the next clasico.

He was fantastic on Champ Man!

Never heard of him tbh, but living in Spain I find it hard enough to keep up with who's in the first team let alone the youngsters.

    Who's that?

It's very unfair to label all sufferers of depression as weak-minded. Mental illness is a terrible thing and can come about for many reasons, if you're lucky enough never to have suffered from it or not to have anybody close to you who has suffered that way then you have lead a charmed life...

Actually football wasn't a working class game initially, undeniably it went through a long period of being so but it has come full circle in returning to being the plaything of rich capitalists.

A man, is that how you describe yourself? The only shirts I have in my wardrobe are Barça, Northampton Town and England ;)

It's nothing to do with being bored this time, believe me, I'd be the first to stand up and criticise Barça if anybody became president next summer in the same manner Perez became president at madrid. Laporta was a sitting president and that makes a world of difference.

So are you proud to have a system whereby the man who pays more money to As and Marca becomes president?

It's absolutely not the same, but if you're happy to accept your club's abortion of a "democracy" then that's your decision. Come next summer I know what will happen at Barça and I know it will be fair and democratic, nobody can say the same of real madrid.

Nobody voted for him did they? He wasn't voted in, he paid off the papers and bought himself a coronation. The difference between Laporta is that our President was an incumbent and I see a massive difference between a sitting President not being opposed and an incoming President allowed to...

Yet not one son of a world class footballer has gone on to match his Father's achievements.

Better off financially for sure, but will that mean they lack the hunger required to make it as a footballer?

It's not just about the genes, environmental and social conditions also play a large part.

I'm 24, and judging by the way you use the word "lad" I assume you're in your mid to late 60s. Honestly, what's the point in claiming that Wilshere won the Emirates Cup for Arsenal? It's not even a proper competition.

    Jack Wilshere

    Oh wow, the emirates cup!

Well you're not a republic either, you have a benevolent dictator in charge of the club.
