I think your English is letting you down - Raul came from Atlético's cantera. He spent just 18 months in your youth teams before debuting for the first team. D'accord?

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Because he learnt nothing there and everything in one and a half years at your cantera. right

    Yep, an Atlético canterano.

    The Old Firm

So how does Scotland survive as an independent nation? Salmond's entire economic justification for independence is that North Sea oil belongs to Scotland. Do you seriously think for a second that England would allow an independent Scotland to keep the oil? It's simply not a realistic proposal...

    Robinho

Yeah he's talking shit, so tell him that, don't tell him he can't say it because he's a Barça fan. The guy's clearly ignorant so tell him about City's history, the exciting players, the great moments etc. and what it means to be a City fan. I have a lot of respect for what City represented...

    Robinho

He has every right to hold an opinion about other clubs, you really need to get this particular chip off your shoulder.

    Robinho

At 1.10€ to the pound it's about 35m€ which would be a monumental waste of money. I don't rate Robinho, never have, if you want to keep him fantastic because there are far better and far more committed players I'd rather have at Barça

and whippets, don't forget the whippets.

    Pep Guardiola

It seems almost certain that we'll head into the market in January, Nobinho and Luis Suárez are two of the names that have been seriously touted in the Catalan press.

    The Old Firm

The only way they should be allowed to join is if the English and Scottish leagues merge completely. I wouldn't want that, I'm sure many SPL and Scottish 1st Div sides wouldn't either but that's the only acceptable scenario.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

I was just musing, I don't disagree with you at all, for some reason the numbers 1, 2 and 3 don't exist when it comes to player ratings.
  12. Cule Angles

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Why is it considered such? Surely on a scale of 1-10 a rating of 5 should be an "average" (in the non-mathematical sense) performance.
  13. Cule Angles

    Pep Guardiola

Well said Bojan, we're suffering from certain individuals not having fulfilled their objectives during the summer and consequently look horribly light in midfield and on the left.

    1 - Victor Valdes

It did cross my mind that he was a tad slow in reacting, but the shot was taken very early so it had that element of surprise. I wouldn't blame VV for either effort.

    Andrés Iniesta

Obviously some of the game's greatest luminaries have yet to be informed of Justin's indisputable facts, once he's finished putting us all to rights on here he should be sure to email his thesis to the likes of Ferguson, Hiddink, Juande Ramos, Luis Aragonés, Vicente del Bosque et al who clearly...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Because Negredo is from the cantera, and that's just plain dull. It's so much more impressive to spend 35m€ on a player and then claim that you beat Manchester United et al in the race to sign him.
  17. Cule Angles

    Pep Guardiola

At the moment we're just suffering a patch of bad luck and slightly under par form that every team suffers at least once or twice a season. It's no big deal and I have every confidence we'll bounce back against Zaragoza on Sunday.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

I didn't like how he was positioned last night, standing inside a lot rather than being positioned on the touchline and stretching the Rubin defence. Obviously this came from Pep but it's something I don't want to see repeated.

    9 - Luis Suárez - v1

He's 22, hardly getting on in years, if anything he's ripe for a move now.

Where? :flagvl8: I think Dalton is the most underrated Bond, probably my 2nd fave behind Connery who just defines 007
