    Yaya Toure

    Fair play.

    Mario Balotelli

I think Super Pippo has been rumbled as an Asturian teenager sitting behind a computer fantasising about an exciting life being an Italian architect and Milan supporter.

    Yaya Toure

Nothing Meta said was wide of the mark, and quite frankly you need to look at yourself re: Busquets before having a go at anybody for "hating".

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

His foot dropped off, he'll never play again.
  5. Cule Angles

    Ronaldinho

Less important than the fact that Ronaldinho only had three good seasons whilst Zizou was consistently amazing.

    Ronaldinho

    Probably Zizou

Looking at the "Player of the decade" award it seems to show how short people's memories are with the list heavily biased towards players who have performed better in the second half of the decade.

    FC Barcelona statistics

Nope, it's 11 (10 in the league, 1 in the CL).

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

That's not something you can guarantee is it? If he's anywhere near full fitness by the time of the final I think he'll play it because the club is desperate for this trophy.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Given your snap judgements on players you've actually watched I'm not sure what to make of your opinion those you haven't even seen

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Who says he's being called up to the first team in January? Even if he is we've had enough youngsters who have been called up only to fail to prove themselves. The most promising player we have coming through the ranks is Thiago Alcántara.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

I've seen Oriol play around half a dozen times, he's nowhere near the required standard even to act as backup to Busi. He's ok in the 2ªB but he wouldn't handle the pace of the 1ª

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Have you ever seen Oriol play? He's nowhere near first team standard.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Yep, Sky Sports have confirmed he's rejected a new contract which means we should be able to get him at a knock down price in the summer if not sooner.

    Real Madrid (old thread)

Marcelo's a terrible full back but he's a decent left winger, I can't however see him ever being anything more than decent and he's a player I'm happy to see lining up for madrid.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Actually I do, it's an illness I suffer from :p
  18. Cule Angles

    Yaya Toure

Yes he was part of the treble winning squad and yes he was excellent throughout the season, but that is in the past now and winning the treble doesn't make anybody untouchable.

I love the amateur doctors on here. For the record everybody thought they could predict Zlatan's layoff when he had the same injury and he was back well before anybody on here said he would be.
  20. Cule Angles

    Yaya Toure

Are you rewriting history now to give Yaya Touré all the credit for the treble? Call me confused but I seem to remember people with names like Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Etoo and Henry having quite a large influence on events last season. In addition a young man called Sergio Busquets excelled...
