    21 - Frenkie de Jong

In my eyes he is playing at the level he has always been playing at, neither better or worse. Really don't get the dramatic arc of fan sentiment towards him. At one point his entire history with us had been retroactively rewritten as some sort of massive drawn out failure. In reality, his story...

    10 - Lamine Yamal

For the most part he seems to know when to get serious and when it's ok to relax and try some stuff out, which is the most important part. But yeah there's definitely a too cool for school vibe about him, which is showing a bit early in his career.

    3 - Alejandro Balde

He was stagnating a bit so it's really nice to see him improving. Especially with his delivery, which was really his main weak point. Now if he can tie his dribbling in a with sharp final pass, he could be a killer on that wing.

Copa Quarter Final: Valencia - Barca 0-5

I prefer the method of starting a strong team and subbing out people when the game is under control rather than resting players from the start. If we close the game early, players can also relax more during games. 90 minutes could be like a training session. If we end up have to fight to the...

    Jan Virgili

It's more ball control and spatial intelligence that will get you around physical battles. Virgili seems plenty quick to me. Maybe he's not talented enough. I can't really tell from the videos. Impressive dribbling from the wing and some decent creative passing and awareness but lacking the...

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

Pena's long passes directly led to two of our goals in the first Clasico this season. Don't really care if it's a throw or a kick.

    10 - Lamine Yamal

The yellow was more for the combined complaint and kicking away the ball. In La Liga you can kick away the ball all you want if you do it nonchalantly. But if you do it in visual frustration then it's an immediate yellow.

La Liga Round 22: Barca - Alaves 1-0

Never liked Gavi in the AM position. I'd much prefer Fermin who is less talented but offers an entirely different kind of attacking agenda.

    Iker Rodriguez

Is he higher rated than Kochen and Yaakob?

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

Ter Stegen doesn't leave space open between his legs. Has that blocking technique with one knee on the ground that has saved countless 1v1s.

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

The second is very questionable from him, regardless of the defense shitting themselves as well. The attacker is way out of balance, almost half on the ground. Szczesny comes out thinking he's going to make a world class save, flails his big limbs and leaves the simples path to the goal open.

    17 - Marc Casadó

    Told you.

    Unai Hernández

Perhaps too similar to Fermin while not visibly surperior in any significant way. Hope he'll return to Spain later on.

    Jérémy Doku

Sure but Pep puts his wingers in a straitjacket. Doubt he played like that for Rennes (though admittedly I didn't watch him).

    17 - Marc Casadó

One good game? He has been consistently solid this season with standout performances in several big games (first Clasico and Bayern comes to mind). Did we really sit through several seasons of Busquets, Iniesta, Rakitic not to learn that clever passes alone won't let you dominate possession...

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

I don't really go in for mystical narratives. Particularly since it is in fact his "courage" for the crucial heroic actions that is leading to the mistakes. He also got himself sent off in a Clasico Super Cup final btw. Not the smallest of occassions. But I suppose that doesn't count since we...

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

It's actually five blunders if you count this one, where he was bailed out by an offside:

    25 - Wojciech Szczęsny

Is it the fact that his blunders hasn't formally cost us yet that is preventing people from realizing just how poor he has been? It's now four inexcusable blunders in the last three games. Had those mistakes come at less fortunate moments, this guy might have singlehandedly cost us three wins...

    Ousmane Dembélé

Has he even been injured since he left us the fucker?
  20. BusiTheKing

    8 - Pedri

Turning into a real man with these performances. Was a bit uneasy for his hamstrings when he was really digging into it in the final stretch of the game. My gut tells me he's in the danger zone for the weekend game.
