How will Getafe be able to afford that?

Offside has been in place for many years without the use of technology, the controversy is in my opinion an attractive idiosyncrisy of the game - I am fully in favour of goal line techology but not video appeals or technology to decide other aspects of the game.

Smaller than Northampton Town? Anyway, I don't really understand what you're trying to say, you start off by stating some obvious facts about football history, then make a bizarre statement and continue on to some tangent about technology

Agreed, defences would sit so deep, there would be "parked busses" every game and none of the wonderful passing in behind the defence to set players free and stretch the game. Controversy isn't an argument for changing a rule, there are a huge number of rules in football which cause controversy...

I don't see Chelski shutting out Inter though, they're a mess defensively at the moment and the Italians will score at least one at the Bridge IMO

That wouldn't surprise me, the socis are a fickle bunch.

Missing, feared dead. Mr F Perez of Madrid is worried that his 35m may not have been the best use of money

You have far more corporate facilities, that's where the big matchday revenues are and part of why we're looking at refurbishing the Camp Nou

    Yaya Toure

100% fitness is nothing if it isn't matched by 100% commitment. With Busquets we have a more solid defence and greater stability as our defensive record shows this season, Yaya at his best is capable of bringing different things to the table but his head isn't in the right place for him to do...

He's not weak at all, he just makes bad decisions because of his inexperience.

I have a strange feeling that we'll have a surprise final this year, Inter v Bordeaux or Sevilla v Porto. None of the big sides look all that impressive and there's a sense that everybody is capable of losing to any of the sides left in the competition with the possible exceptions of Stuttgart...

I didn't go to the BA monument but I did visit monuments in Rosario and San Nicolás de Arroyos. It was interesting to see the depth of feeling regarding the conflict in Argentina and I know how you feel.

Pippo, you've misunderstood the situation, nobody here has any problem with Argentina, the issue is with taunting a war veteran. Fans of various clubs in England take flags representing the nationality of their players so some have Argentine flags and sing "Argentina, Argentina" in support of...

So you reckon that if Morocco had invaded Las Canarias 30 years ago and a veteran of a conflict between Spain and Morocco who received horrific injuries was a guest of Atletico Madrid you'd have Madridistas holding Morocco flags? I don't.
