    Neymar Jr.

Last year we had Coutinho and Dembele and Malcom. They were worse, weren't they? Should we commit to Neymar's wages for so many years?

We still have Perez, Abel Ruiz and Fati. Also Rafinha (ok, debatable) that can cover.

    Lliga | Round 3: Osasuna - FC Barcelona 2-2

Will the G.O.A.T. be ready for this? If yes, I would like to see the Lineup from the Betis match with Messi instead of Rafinha. Keep Perez in to have the Pedro effect. Keep Bob, to run his lungs off to cover for Messi. Not sure about Busi too. He had a knock in the previous game.

    Neymar Jr.

In all honesty, I don't think we need him. We have a working team with some upcoming talents and still more star power in our tank than most other teams. Him joining us would be short sighted as hell. We'd better send Dembele to PSG, take 80m or so and get rid of his paycheck and frustrating...

    Arthur

To be fair, three actual workhorse midfielders would be good enough to retain a 3-0 lead on Anfield. But we only had one in that game. It was a huge mistake because we didn't field the correct players for the tactical plan we had. As far as Arthur is concerned, he reminds me of Xavi when he got...

    Rafinha Alcantara

He seems to play the Messi role really well. If he could play as good as Messi, he would cost a fortune. You can also comment the play posted above.

I'd surely pick Perez or Rafinha depending on the circumstances.

    Sergio Busquets

We can bash players when not performing well, but the hate he's got is not justified. One, I repeat, one misplaced pass (with blame on the receiving player as well) the whole game, that on its own should not be enough to concede the goal. Furthermore, he intercepted so many balls which resulted...

    Ernesto Valverde

Betis were not so great last night. But we must remember that if people weren't absolutely furious at Valverde for last year's debacles and if Suarez and Dembele weren't injured the starting line up would consist of Busi, Raki, FDJ/Vidal, Suarez, Griezmann (LW) and possibly Roberto (RW). We...

    Rafinha Alcantara

He can be the best rest-messi-guy on some matches as far as I can see. Not a clinical finisher, but unlucky on some occasions too. I cannot hate this man, it takes amazing determination to keep on playing with such hunger after so many injuries.

    Carles Perez

I am sorry to say, but most people just seem to look at the shirt number and nothing more. I hadn't seen this guy play so much and from what people were saying, he was a Segunda player at most. That's not what he has been presenting us with. Take out the price tags, and he is way more useful for...

    Arthur

He is not like FDJ, I don't understand where this comes from. Arthur does have a spot in this team, and my guess is that he will be extremely useful on tough away CL games. We have a very very crowded middlefield, which should make for well rested players all year long. About the pecking order...

    Frenkie de Jong

De Jong looked kind of a non-factor today, as he played too far left. Not bad though, just played his part in a functional system. Still looked good in possession and covered well. Busquets, whatever people may say and despite his decline, is still a monster at intercepting balls high up the...

Lliga | Round 2: FC Barcelona - Real Betis 5-2

I don't get the poor first half narrative. We played the same way both halfs (very good), just scored more in the second. Swap Rafinha for Messi, and the scoreline would have been 3-0 by the 30th minute.

Lliga | Round 2: FC Barcelona - Real Betis 5-2

But Rafinha was our only attacking threat and only organizer against Bilbao. Perhaps this would be a time to change the formation to 4-4-2 (diamond), since Perez doesn't seem to be able to offer much on the wings. Can he play as a striker with Griez behind him (in his natural habitat)?
