    Champions League 2022/2023

Inter are probably a better team than Real at the moment, to be honest, considering form and stuff. Also it's a one-off game which naturally advantages them because the better team tends to win out over 2 legs.

I did say this, to be fair. But we are on track for 97 points, and that wins the league in most seasons, not just against a poor Madrid, so I will take the L on that one. But I still critique the style of play and think we need to improve that to keep success consistent.

    Champions League 2022/2023

Never said winning the league wasn't an achievement but the way in which we were doing it was what I was always critical of. I don't think playing like that is conducive to success and winning leagues in future.

My question : where is Serghei? Makes out Madrid as unbeatable world class mentality monsters, meanwhile they are 14 points behind in the league and get absolutely embarrassed in CL, whilst Inter who have no budget and an average squad make the finals. What has he got to say about that? After...

    Champions League 2022/2023

Conceding 4 goals is one thing but the more shocking thing is how poor Madrid have been offensively. They created virtually nothing over 2 legs, almost nothing in 180 minutes. The signs were there with how we defensively shut them down multiple times.

Nah. We fully deserved this season and made a great campaign.

    Champions League 2022/2023

No team who finishes so far behind this version of Barca should be competing with a monster Pep managed City. It isn't much of a surprise that they won today and the odds were how they were.

League against who? 2nd place (us) had 73 points. That is a free league and shouldn't be considered that highly they won by default.

    Champions League 2022/2023

The mistake people make is connecting this Real side to the three-peat ZZ side like they are anywhere near the same and comparing them. They are nothing alike and this Madrid is far far weaker than that team ever was. Much weaker squad. ZZ Madrid went toe to toe with an amazing Barca team not...

Benzema is just ball to feet at this point. Wonderful player if you can get it to him consistently but nothing into space ever.

His game is basically - great pace and a nice strike of the ball. People here think he is worth 100m, lol. Soon enough he will be at Tottenham or Betis.

He's good at them especially for only playing full back since a few months, but no Wan Bissaka for sure.

Camavinga may be great in 1v1s but his lack of awareness is getting exposed. He isn't good at tracking people around him and not great positionally either. Lets Silva loose far too much.

    Champions League 2022/2023

Camavinga and Valverde specifically have been awful. Look like they have no idea what's going on around them. Just athletes with tekkers. Tchouameni is probably their best midfielder, can never understand why he doesn't play, he has brains, skill and physique.

    Champions League 2022/2023

Inter are a better team than Madrid at the moment 100 percent. Madrid absolutely have been structurally dominated today. Now City should take a Xavi approach - just defend with the ball and kill the game because Madrid can't get near them.

    Real are terrible.

    Champions League 2022/2023

Real are shite man. We were better than them this season and fully deserved the title over them. They suck. This is their game. Just voodoo parking the bus every time in CL.

    Iñigo Martínez

That's actually very true. In football, CB can even be more of a demanding on the ball position than striker these days. At CB you're responsible for the build up of the team too and even losing the ball once can cause a goal. Forwards have a license to lose the ball in their attempts to score.

If Madrid win tomorrow Ancelotti will cry when he has to break down that Italian bus midfield as opposed to the oceans of space he is getting on the counter against the big teams.
