    Jeremy Mathieu

Here's a video Sporting put up of him saying his farewell to the rest of the squad. https://twitter.com/Sporting_CP/status/1276122942649380864 :(

    Miralem Pjanic

Yeah, Alena, I think his time as a serious option as a starter is coming to a close. I mean at Betis he hasn't been too bad but when you compare him to some of the younger options he's just meh Which is disappointing considering how good he was at Barca B. He's not a bad player at all but it...

Apparently hes having a good half so far.

    Arthur

Would anyone really have that much of an issue if he ended up staying and later proving he deserves a contract renewal? He's already on a long term deal until at least 2024/5. His wages are probably low enough that even if he gets a renewal it will still probably be lower than what we are...

    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

According to Ferran Martinez, there's still no agreement with Garc?a Pimienta to renew his contract and there's another meeting today. But going what Martinez said in his article yesterday it apparently didn't sound too good right now.

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

The only negative thing I've seen is he's not explosively fast but he makes up for it in technique and his intelligence. From his debut up until now he's definitely improved a lot now and I wish they would get him on the ball more as it feels like he can do some damaging shit with it.

    Jeremy Mathieu

Despite getting signing a contract extension around a month ago, he suffered a bad knee injury earlier today in training, and due to that he announced he has retired. Shame it had to end like that as Sporting fans love him and consider him one of the best CB's they have had in years.

    Mavericky Puig

I've been burnt too much by La Masia players now to take hardcore followers words for the talents we had come through in the past few seasons. There was a time where people and even I thought Montoya and Bartra could step up and be the successor to Alves and Puyol, but it turns out there's a...

    Clément Lenglet

He seems to be at least getting back into the form he had a season ago and getting better. I'm still not sure if he will be our long term LCB or be a 3rd choice. He's won the battle against Umtiti as it's clear that guy won't ever get back to normal due to those injuries.

    Quique Setien

I feel like he's going to troll everyone and start Roberto-Rakitic with Puig and he ends up being the scapegoat and never plays a minute for the rest of the season.

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

Sadly we are going to have to get used to it. It's basically Cou-Suarez-Messi v2 except Griezmann can defend and he costs too much money to ride the bench and Seiten doesn't appear to have the guts to bench Suarez.

    Mavericky Puig

I have to assume he's finally realizing that his career here is on the line and he's playing for it. The last full game he had he was pretty poor against 3rd division team in the Copa and was getting bullied hard. But it appears he's starting to show his talent despite his small size.

Lliga | Round 31: FC Barcelona - Athletic Bilbao 1-0

Wow it's a miracle Suarez got subbed.

Not a great game by him at all.

    Frenkie de Jong

Alfredo Martinez confirms it. https://twitter.com/ElTransistorOC/status/1275187279313674240 De Jong is not happy with the Medical team.

    Frenkie de Jong

Discomfort in the dressing room of Barca's first team with the club's medical services. Frenkie De Jong is angry. He has threatened to go to Netherlands to recover due to the initial misdiagnosis of his injury as per Jordi Grau @esport3 @tv3cat Since the middle of this season, Barca players...

    Quique Setien

Nothing wrong with adding players in their prime but more like guys like Rakitic who was like 26 when we got him not dudes like Pjanic who is 30 years old and is already showing signs of decline.
  18. xXKonan

    Quique Setien

But in our case our older group of players don't have the legs to match what they want to do. They are all useful but not all of them need to be on the pitch at once like Seiten and Valverde are/were persisting with. Can a team function with at least Pique-Busi-Messi in the lineup? Certainly...

    Quique Setien

Yeah, he's become nothing more than another Valverde. His words when he did his first press conference were encouraging but now? he looks like a guy who's letting the old guard run him over so in hopes that he remains as a manager. I guess it's like Jamdav, said, it appears no elite manager...
