    Ousmane Dembélé

He could make a documentary about injuries and make some money out of his situation.

    Ernesto Valverde

I surely miss getting dominated away from home and conceding 15 chances per game.

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

He did very well in my opinion. He is starting to look more like a first team player as he gets more and more minutes. I was shocked he was subbed off to be honestly, but I guess it was a precaution after all. Don't forget atletico played extremely rough and weren't punished at all for it.

    Quique Setien

We have Suarez out, our only attacker since fire was discovered. Arthur not match fit for months. Vidal not fit. Dembele permanently injured. Messi playing through pain. Lost Alena Lost Todibo Lost Perez Now, pique could have an injury This is pretty bad. Having to play rakitic with busquets...

    Lionel Messi - v7

Unlucky with the shot. I feel he gave all he could but we are on a really bad spell. Let's hope we can move forward.

    Arthur

Arthur looked great this game. Could it be he played on the left or him gaining his form gradually?

Copa 1/4 Final: Athletic Bilbao - FC Barcelona 1-0

Does anyone else believe Bilbao are let to play too aggressively? Our guys and Setien looked really mad with the ref.

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

Bilbao's only chances come from his mistakes literally. We may struggle with this hyper pressing but he is the only one making serious mistakes.

    Ivan Rakitić

Mats plays to rakitic all the time and his passes are 10 meters away. Can't blame rakitic for this. Mats is killing us.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Trying is an understatement. He looks like he is 4 players. This is not normal. Messi needing to drop to left back so we can beat the press.

Copa 1/4 Final: Athletic Bilbao - FC Barcelona 1-0

We are struggling against pressure but trying hard to beat it. To be brutally honest atletico play rugby and get away with it while we have 3 yellow cards. This is disgusting.

    Lionel Messi - v7

So, Abidal is staying then? Messi must not be running the club hard enough. Needs to be a better dictator.

    Frenkie de Jong

Comparing with Xavi shouldn't be the standard for any 23yo midfielder. The man had a football brain the size of Camp Nou.
  14. JohnN

    Ernesto Valverde

What does it mean to "keep the locker room happy"? Because if it entails: - 3 days off every week - Low intensity training - Playing only seniors - Low standard for football quality He did great. You can't praise a coach for keeping the players happy by letting the team rot from inside out.

Messi's comment on Abidal's recent interview

So, Abidal did well to go public with our dirty laundry, but Messi did bad to go public challenging that. You cannot back that up man. There is no way.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Had to dig deep to make find this gem and keep it relevant. You mean like last season? Because "recent seasons" include that.
  17. JohnN

    Lionel Messi - v7

Well this is a shitstorm. I don't mind it though. Better expose every problem within the team because as long as there is bad blood we will go nowhere. My take on this, is that Abidal should not have made that statement. And by that statement, I mean this: "Many were not satisfied and did not...

    Ousmane Dembélé

The team has supported Dembele a lot in my opinion and no one would judge them if he was sold. Apart from his talent or non-talent which can be debated forever, he has really bad injury issues which don't seem to be going anywhere.

    Thank you!
