    That rule about 50% sounds stupid to be honest. Messis contract has expired, if he signed a new one, he would have been considered a new player. Does it also mean if he signed for Atleti or any other Spanish club, that he couldn't get a salary lower than 50% of the last Barca contract...

    It is not that they know how to sell. Barca could have also made big money if they sold Frenkie and Pedri. They sold Lukaku and Hakimi, two key players, while Barca is trying to sell their trash. I don't see Inter getting big money or any offers for players like Alexis, Vecino and Sensi.
