I think BBZ is 100 % correct in that it's important to keep the Catalan players and not lose the image that the club is portraying (the club of catalunya). Just a bit pathetic to discard players like Suarez and Vidal with a 1 min phone call.- Richard.H

It's important to note that Messi's old amigo, Fabregas, left the club and it didn't seem to bother Messi too much. Their families were also very close to eachother and I think still are. -

I don't really understand what it is either. Doesn't the club have to pay the remaining wages to the player? You can't just stop paying wages unless something serious happened. Maybe he did and Suarez flat out refused his demands? RAC1 (not state controlled by Barto like MD and sport are) did report that Barto offered him to a club with good wages but he said no.- Richard.H
