    Antoine Griezmann

Agreed. Even if he is not a good fit, which he isn't, he doesn't look good at anything, no matter the position he plays. And he played them all. He just looks am average player, who got really lucky at some point and made a name for himself.

    Lionel Messi - v7

But does it matter he is not so strong? I mean, we don't look like wining much with the other cms we have, so at least we could enjoy this guy playing at 100% tempo and making great plays. I am just so tired of the turtle pace, I am not sure I would mind him playing more.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Puig like players are needed in the midfield, or our possession is too unproductive and too slow. I don't know if Puig can hold his own against better sides, but he fits the profile we need. When everyone circulates the ball aimlessly for 30 minutes and Messi hasn't touched it, he WILL try too...

    Antoine Griezmann

Not that bad in what way? He Does not fit at all. And even if he did have a role, he lacks the technical ability. Fati plays better on the left. Suarez and the new guy who I can't pronounce his name play better on the center, Messi plays better on the center and on the right. Where should we fit...

    Lionel Messi - v7

You can clearly see he participated better and held his position when actually good tiki taka trained players, even really raw ones, entered the game. Literally no one else can follow messis passes and almost no one carries his weight in this team.

    Ivan Rakitić

The break could be a blessing for us.. but we need to avoid bad choices like pairing Rakitic with Busquets, or playing Arthur at all in his current state. Also avoid griezmann and we should be ok.

    Lionel Messi - v7

What is the alternative? Drop him? He always takes some time to get to his best form. And notice the difference once fati and Puig, 2 people who understand passing game, came on.

    Ivan Rakitić

At the moment I might be better than Arthur. Rakitic has been decent since the break. They all get shadowed by Puig though, whatever that means..

    Quique Setien

Up until the league and overall break, improvement wasn't up to the standard we would have liked. After the lockdowns etc, it's kind of hard to assess the progress or regression. No team will be able to play up to their level with a match per 3 days. Barca, with an aging squad and a long history...

    Arthur

I agree with everything @Serghei said but I do see a problem in relation to Arthur. I rate Arthur as a possession oriented player. But he's is not progressing in terms of attacking initiative. I do agree that runs are kind of rare ( against parked busses they have always been rare ). But I see...

    Ivan Rakitić

Many of our guys make those kind of passes behind the intended target and after a small delay. We must move the ball faster against parked busses.

    Antoine Griezmann

I am starting to miss Coutinho. Antoine is not fit for this team in any way shape or form. I don't know if it's the system's the coach's, his teammates' or his fault.

    Arthur

In all honesty, Riqui looked better. Perhaps the timing or the subs had an impact too though.

    BarcaTV + Question

Only thing I could find out was this: "All first-team games will be available delayed or on-demand post-match.". So, no live stream will be provided, which is both natural and frustrating, as it would be nice.

    Luis Suárez

The initial photograph must be some kind of perspective illusion. I am sure he hasn't gained muchch weigh. But it looked bad.

    Antoine Griezmann

I don't really know how he did back then. As long as he is with Barca his numbers and the eye test, both paint the same picture. Good overall attributes, some better than others but not a single exceptional one. Combine that with our "system" and we get this season's results. Not bad, not great...

    Antoine Griezmann

Most say he is a world class player but doesn't have a position in our team. I agree with the second point, but I still don't see a world class player. He is of course really good at tracking back.

    Lautaro Martinez

We seem to be going after the wrong player profiles until one of them proves to be so good and versatile that he succeeds. Not the wisest of tactis.

    Luis Suárez

He looks like a veteran. Not even I got this fat in quarantine..

Barcelona 2010/2011 seems so clearly better than 2008/2009 when I watch both play.

2011 Barca was dream like football. 2009 wasn't at the technical and tactical peak yet but had more grit. Each to his own. I likef 2011 version better.
