    Basketball/NBA

Lots of talk here about Lebron persuading CP3 and Derick Rose to join, but not sure how that would work out with Rondo here. The pieces we can move are Kuzma, Green, and maybe McGee too. Others have definitely proved their worth and don't think the GM will want to trade them. Seems like we're...

    Pep Guardiola

So true, idk how EPL fans and EPL media manage to hype up their players so much, but those Brits are excellent salesman. The EPL hype machine is making these players look like they’re on level with prime messi and CR7

    Ronald Koeman

We can’t fix the defense because we don’t have the personnel. You bench lenglet and then play Araujo, what if he turns out even worse/scared because he doesn’t have a lot of first team experience? Now you potentially ruined the development of a youngster. He can certainly bench busquets but...

    Serie A

Juve is about our level. We have the advantage of playing in la liga which, IMO, is a lot fast paced than serie a. They have more organized defending no doubt, but I have never seen an Italian side this season with lightning fast counter attack (our kryptonite)

    Arthur

I must admit, with all the shitshow our club is in, getting rid of the std Xavi-lite and discount mart Dani alves were good bits of business.

    Lionel Messi - v7

I agree, it’s sad really but cuntomeu kept him here. He should’ve really been let go. You can’t keep a player and expect him to play well when he wants to leave. In the NBA and many other sports you won’t ever hear a GM trying to keep a player when they’re forcing a push. It happened a few times...

    Ronald Koeman

Weird tweet, I think he should stay professional and not say anything.

    Sergiño Dest

This kid is a massive improvement from semedo, who always seemed too tentative and afraid to go forward. Also has confidence which I really like. Great first Clasico, hope he keeps it up

Dustin Poirier? Really? So he’s fighting cans just go statpad? That’s ridiculous. He’ll eat him alive

Gaethje never stood a chance, just a power striker. You gotta have more variety to beat khabib. I would love to see both come out of retirement and have a Khabib Mcgregor rematch

    Lionel Messi - v7

I watched a few serie a matches last weekend and I completely agree. They play about half the speed of la liga. More organized defending yes, but the slower pace will do him a ton of good.

    Frenkie de Jong

Even Lenglet would look like prime Pique at Bayern probably. Just a well oiled machine with each piece knowing their function.

Ernesto Valverde: An Analysis of his tenure

Do other football forums ban obvious trolls like messigician frequently? Feels like the guy will post an essay on this thread every time we lose.,

    Frenkie de Jong

Excellent post, but he’s usually more high IQ in the NT. I’m guessing he feels more pressure at Barca is my only guess

    Frenkie de Jong

This guy I feel like overthinks way too much on the pitch and doesn?t have much freedom when he has to play with Busi. His performances here feel very restrictive compared to the NT

    Philippe Coutinho

He’s not a winger and he will never will be. Coach after coach tries to force him to that position. It’s either AM or nothing for Cou

    Ronald Koeman

This was a very valverde like game from koeman. Late subs which is strange since he?s been utilizing at least 4-5 by minute 70 in previous matches. Some things should be established now, like busquets not being able to play with FDJ, lenglet-pique cb pair being mediocre, and coutinho on the...

    Clément Lenglet

This guy is a Sevilla/Valencia level defender. He’s good, but he will ALWAYS struggle against top European sides and in the CL.

La Liga | Round 7: FC Barcelona - Real Madrid 1-3

Guys we are bad, really bad. No way to put it any other way or hope for any coach to fix this shitshow. The sad part is RM themselves are not good this season either. The bright spots are the youngsters Fati, Dest, and Pedri. We are paying massive consequences for horrible squad planning in the...

    Gerard Piqué

The problem with him is he needs a CB leader next to him to straighten him out. He's not a leader himself. He's completely different than Ramos. Pique is a clown who constantly needs to be straightened out at the back. Who was here to do that after 2016? Iniesta? Messi?
