I think Lucho's treble team was a lot more versatile. Deadly counter attacks, can defend when needed with real leaders at the back like Mascherano, and midfield had an absolute workhorse in Rakitic. It was completely different than tiki-taka Pep football.- Richard.H

There is certainly a bias among Catalan fans for the Canterano players. I think it was much easier to offload the 2006 CL team than the current team due to so many of them not being homegrown. The Pep and Lucho teams are a symbol of pride for the city. -
