    Luis Suárez

A great goalscoarer keeps scoring goals, it's normal. But he is obviously on a great spell of form which would probably never happen if he had stayed.

CL | Round of 16: PSG - FC Barcelona (5-2 agg)

    Brace yourselves...

    Mavericky Puig

That quick short passing between him, prdri and Messi was The play of the match for me. The only 3 players who can pass so fast and accurate in out squad.

Will Messi leave at the end of this season?

I think he will leave due to age and not being able to bring the level he knows he once had. It would be great if his departure was under better circumstances with us having an actual top team despite him gone, but that's the cycle of football. This might be the last season we still have players...

La Liga | Round 23: FC Barcelona - Alaves 5-1

Pjanic benched by la masua kid. Love to see it despite the result. Pjanic is kind of unlikable. Messi should be rested in my opinion.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Welcome back to the forum BBZ, waiting a couple of months for the first meh performance to show up. Great attitude.

Copa 1/2 Final: FC Barcelona - Sevilla 3-2 (agg)

Not our best game, especially first half. Not even a single player had an above average game. Next time better please!

    Ousmane Dembélé

Close him one side and he easily switches sides like nothing happened. Then change his mind and switch side again to give the defender a second chance. Them switch side again and forget the ball behind.

    Ernesto Valverde

I answered above. Also had the likes of Iniesta, Suarez, Coutinho, Rakitic (not last seasons one ofcourse)

    Ernesto Valverde

I did mention some factors that have great impact though. No covid then, no games every 3 days, Messi a year younger, better quality of teammates (even if most were past their best). Considering everything he is better than the start of last season.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Messi out of form with all the shit going around didn't score every other chance as he used to at 33yo with a disjointed and dysfunctional team around him in the first 3 months of a new manager. And that translates somehow to "half a year" of worse than average player performances.

    Ernesto Valverde

There were many issues that affected Messis performances when EV left. But by the same logic, the fact he is playing beyond last seasons level now, without Suarez, 1 year older, every 3 days should automatically mean Koeman is a better coach than ev.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Messi was bad for the standard of any player, got it.

    Ernesto Valverde

Blaming him for the Bayern result is not right, I agree. I disagree though, with one of the things you say, more specificaly this: "Our results after Valverde show that he was important part of puzzle that kept things at least on decent level" Our results after he left, show that our team had...

    Ronald Koeman

With Lenglet giving away 1 goal every other game for a couple of weeks, it is natural our defense sucked. It wasn't that bad as far as organization is conserned. Moreover, we have collected about the same points as last season at the same point in the season.

    1 - Marc-Andre ter Ansplant

He won't ever improve at crosses but he is really good 1v1 and at close reactions. Too bad crosses is our weakest aspect collectively.

    4 - Ronald Araújo

Twisting your ankle hurts as fuck. And it usually needs some time to heal. We are pretty much done against psg without him.
  18. JohnN

    Antoine Griezmann

He played his supposed "best position" in the first half, in the absence of Messi. The midfield trio might not have been the best, but he was nowhere to be found creating wise. That miss was also classic griezmann, bit luck was on our side. He has played better genes lately.

    0 - Own Goal

Yeah right. Scoring against betis but when we need him away in CL, he always hides behind others. Hard sell.

    Miralem Pjanic

Looks like the odd man out. Doesn't look like he has joined the team spirit that has been developing at the team. Also, he is competing with Busi for "slowest release of the ball d'or".
