Lenglet, griezmann, dembele.. the french trio of death. Edit: forgot Umtiti somehow. make it a quartet..

    Lionel Messi - v7

We weren't to even close being a top side before 2005 so why should we expect that every season now. Our golden era is gone and will probably never come back. We should try to be a little more humble, even more after all these consecutive humiliations.

    Ronald Koeman

But lenglet has been a consistent nightmare. I can give the benefit of the doubt to Koeman for many things, as he had a good impact on mamy fronts. But lenglet has proven he is not to be trusted, even if the only alternative is one legged Umtiti and below average Miguenza. This is one of those...

    Lionel Messi - v7

Everyone you mentioned played against psg and today. How is koeman implementing anything from what I said. And the answer is he isn't but the point is not it. The point was we need a whole new team with no more aspirations to be a top contender or we will always fail. We need to start from a...

    Lionel Messi - v7

I am not saying we should have done that 4 season ago. And my expectations would be above midtable. I think the guys you mentioned could achieve that.

    Lionel Messi - v7

I really can't see that required level being so high. This is a statement from entitlement. We are a midtable team without Messi and with Messi we can't be a top team any more, because of his age. So, all we need is above midtable players to be better. We can get some of those if we sell out...

    La Liga 2020/21

It really shows how important a consistent back line is. And when I say consistent, I don't mean consistent at fuck ups, like lenglet.

    Lionel Messi - v7

This "need to remain competitive while rebuilding" shit has cost us. We need a new approach. Just create a young squad and let them evolve. As long as we try to mix and match we will fail.

    Lionel Messi - v7

I am angry at this team at this point. We can't even beat a second division team at nou camp. This is a new low.

    Lionel Messi - v7

Even I and most of his defenders don't want him to stay next season. The money situation is only a part of it. But the team has not had a clean sheet for ever You can't expect to score all the time. Forwards are always the ones who have a space for error. Defenders have no space for it. And out...

    Clément Lenglet

I mean, no one was spectacular this match and I blame koeman for starting the same line up. But this guy looks like a spy trying to destroy every chance for recovery we have.

    Mavericky Puig

Because Koeman thought: let's field the same, tired, lineup that got dismantled by PSG midweek to prove it was just a bad moment. Puig brings life to this team every time he plays. If his level is not old Barca level, who gives a shit?

    Clément Lenglet

How many goals and points has this man single handedly cost us? Get out please.

    Ronald Koeman

Get out at this point.. he was doing ok but this last weeks are horrendous.

Really.. koeman is so stubborn it's amazing.

    Clément Lenglet

We had found some stability with Araujo in the back. Then the fucking injury comes at the worst possible time and we get to experience the center back pairing of death again. Our luck is getting worse each passing day.

    Mavericky Puig

I don't ever say it's bad in any way. I agree that it's not a system we can try to follow at this stage. We need years of rebuilding and a crazy amount of luck to ever go back there. And that shouldn't be our main goal. Building a competitive team, without the illusion of dominance is our best shot.

CL | Round of 16: PSG - FC Barcelona (5-2 agg)

The return leg could be even worse. Brace yourselves, I said before this game too, once again.

    Mavericky Puig

We are so far away, player level wise, from all those past teams that none of those systems would be applicable. But the truth is Pep's is the least applicable because it requires truly great players to work. That's why his was a best of all time team and the others were "just" great teams.
