This. Puig will perform very well against any side like Alaves (giving him tons of space and time to make a decision) but it's a totally different match vs teams who close down fast, are physical, and fast. That's the biggest issue i had with Denis. He never looked quite comfortable playing for us. For example, he played so well with Villareal and had many excellent matches for Celta. With us it never quite looked like he had the confidence to play well- Richard.H

Had an excellent game. I know it's Alaves, but he looked very very good. His touches and turns are actually meaningful unlike Arthur. I still think he's an excellent rotation player. He should be utilized more, as a 2nd half sub for a tired Pedri or Busi- Richard.H

There is a huge gap in quality between Alaves and PSG :lol: Koeman has not done well against top teams. I would urge people here to keep your expectations realistic. Absolute best we can hope for is a very narrow loss- Richard.H

TBH I just can't take the German domestic competitions seriously. Before 2015 at least there was a good Dortmund side to give them some scares. Now they could probably play their B team in Bundesliga and still be at first place or just a few points away. It's downright embarrassing how freely...- Richard.H

We had arguably the best club team of the past 25 years. Look at it this way, Spain's core was that Barca team. Without Messi, they still managed to win two Euros and a World Cup. There were some truly undeserved losses in the CL during Pep's time. Inter 2010 and Chelsea 2012. Just inches away...- Richard.H
