    Messi's Top 5 goals?

I think the 1st Stuttgart and last Arsenal goals deserve a spot here.

    1 - Victor Valdes

Valdes certainly deserves that spot behind Casillas. However, considering that Puyol, Pique, Xavi, Iniesta, and Busquets seem instant starters for Spain, I doubt Del Bosque will add a 6th Barça player to the squad. It's not good to have your best players not play for the NT, but it's not good...

    Real Madrid (old thread)

I don't know about you guys, but I felt the guy RM were missing was Granero. He's been a consistent starter and has been consistently the main man in the midfield until his stamina runs out, which is usually around the 60th minute. He's RM's Xavi (even if they play somewhat different positions)...

    Bojan Krkić

I think this means that Bojan will get the spotlight against RM from what I see.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v1

Before you know it and if Argentina win the WC because of Messi, we'll be seeing Pacquiao-style accusations of STEROIDS.

We don't have this stuff in my part of the US, so I don't know how it would taste....

Who should partner Milito against Arsenal ?

Pretty obvious that yaya should be the main man with milito. He's done it vs Chelsea and Manchester united.

    USA

I live in hillbilly land. The only people that watch soccer are some Barça fans from the local Jesuit college. We soccer fans/players here get so much stuff for playing the sport. It's pitiful really. What makes it worse is the style of football we play here: long ball it and hope their track...

    Gabriel Milito

Meh... We were so exposed until we had total possession of the ball. But that's probably because of the Puyol-Milito partnership more than anything. BTW, Milito should've had that red.

    Andrés Iniesta

I don't think we'll be playing our normal 4-3-3 though... I have a feeling we'll be closer to our 4-2-3-1, which Iniesta would play as LW (or LAM, depends on how you look at it). BUt then again, I predict another long outing for Iniesta sadly. @_@

    Jonathan Dos Santos

He should've passed it to Messi instead of going for the chip to an offside Ibra...

Who will win the CL - If not Barcelona?

LOL I guess Chelsea is out of it. I'd give the CL title to Man U right now because of that CL curse @_@

    MLS

I rofl at MLS. Hey look the ball's in the air!.... woot black out at the Home Depot Arena! US Commentator: Everyone knows Barcelona has stars, but the NY Red Bulls do, too, Like Juan Pablo Angel! Oh what a touch by Angel! o_O *scores 0; final score 4-0* Oh well, Barcelona was just too good.... wut

    Alberto Botía

He seems more Albiol-ish and less like Puyol. So, he'd more or less fit into the system. He won't exactly be glove fit with Puyol or Milito in the field, but Albiol-Sergio Ramos (who's Puyol-ish) works.
  16. veryfatchocobo

Who will still score this season?

    ahahahhahaha Chiggy

    Real Madrid (old thread)

This guy is the next big man for RM. He's already shown his awesomeness. His distribution reminds me of a more forward Xavi IMO. If anything this is a Pellegrini/Valdano man, not a Perez blah. Like Beast said though, he should be benched a little more this year.... 1-2 years is his automatic...

    Seung-Ho Paik

That's true... You know what I find funny though? Philippines beating Brazil in the indoor football WC.
  19. veryfatchocobo

    Alberto Botía

IMO, he's one of the cleanest tacklers in the league besides Albiol, Puyol, etc. I'd rather play this guy than Chiggy hands down.

    Seung-Ho Paik

Considering a Filipino is the highest goalscorer in Barcelona, I can see it <_<. Maybe this man will also re-open up the Philippines to football.
