    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Messi on relaxing after games: And he's apparently in Italy today visiting some guy named Giuliano Poser (dat name), who is in charge of his diet this season: So he's traveling on his day off. Great

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Messi would perfect the art of 3 pointers and become the all time top scorer there as well :messi:

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Imagine if Ronaldos sport was basketball, a sport where you can do more things on your own, and his ego was allowed free expression in the NBA... He would quickly make Kobe seem like the most humble player in the league. SIIUUUUU!

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Yeah and I agree with all of that. My point is simply that it sucks for us that Messi is so tired as he is now, as he's looking as exhausted as he did at the end of the WC, but instead of getting a vacation we're in the home stretch of an intense season, and Messi is probably not willing to rest...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

I've seen that as well. Completely irrelevant, because Ronaldo is not a sprinter. His technique, which takes years to develop, is completely off and suited for football. My scenario was if he dedicated his life to that sport.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

I don't think I am, but I'm not surprised if I get a lot of opinions like that in here. As a physical athlete he's absolute top level in my opinion. But let's focus on something we can agree on, and which my point of the original post was: he's a lot more athletic than Messi, and is showing a...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

I obviously mean how physically gifted he is. If Ronaldos passion was 100m sprint for instance, and he dedicated his life to that sport instead, I'm pretty sure he could be among the worlds best. It's an impossible discussion of course as we can't know, but I'm using it as an example of how...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

There has never been a question about that, they are worlds apart in that department. Ronaldo is one of the worlds top athletes regardless of sport. He can actually push himself physically in smaller games and "statpad" towards the very end of the season and still get away with it, but Messi...

    Aston Villa

Really enjoyed reading through that, just as I did with the one you wrote about your experience watching the clasico with the Penya Blaugrana in London. Even though I don't follow Aston Villa at all I can't help but feel some of the excitement you're sharing. You do great write-ups, keep it up! :)

    UEFA Champions League 2014-15

    As a semi-final round should be. :)

    UEFA Champions League 2014-15

It's good for La Liga in the sense that RM will not get to rest and be able to focus solely on the league, as they would be able to had they been eliminated tonight. And the second point to make is that I'm absolutely not sure that Atletico would be an easier matchup for us than RM in the CL...

    UEFA Champions League 2014-15

I agree it was silly, but it doesn't matter as the fault lies with the ref for not making the correct call. Objectively speaking of course. Turan made a mistake doing it, that's for sure.

    UEFA Champions League 2014-15

That was not a yellow card, bad call by the ref. How stupid it was going in like that by Turan is irrelevant, as the contact made was not enough for a yellow. He pulled back, no straight legs, barely any contact and both going for the ball.

    Luis Enrique

I love how Lucho and his team has the physical management of the players down to a tee. Doing a really good job. Recovery session for UEFA Champions League semi-finalists FC Barcelona Light recovery session today, a complete rest-day on Thursday and finally a normal training day on Friday with...

    Jordi Alba

The moment i remember best from Alba last night was when he yelled at Ter Stegen after the latter bumped into him while catching a falling ball straight over Jordis head without announcing it first.

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

Haha true, whenever Messi initiates give-and-go short passes with Alves it seems that he would continue, if allowed, until the referee blew his whistle to signal the end of the game. By the way, the linkup between Alves and Neymar in that cross-header-goal was almost a reprise of the winner in...

    This made me chuckle

    Luis Enrique

Marca really hitting a new low with their "reporting" today then, with this in addition to their "Suarez and Neymar fighting" story... Grasping for anything they can to try and rain on Barcas high morale

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Mascherano: "It's obvious that, for Barcelona's style, it's better that Busquets plays than that I play." At DM. Mascherano, silently one of my favorite players of all time.
