Laporta for good measure didn’t fully take the idea of renovating the stadium into consideration until it was feasible and realistic. That’s why designs were made in 2007 and not in 2003, 2004 or 2005. You have to consider that the club in 2003 was at its lowest point truly, coming off another...

Ok I was taking it too far there, basically no one is saying it’s a bad thing. But people on this forum whine so much about the delays and the lies as if it doesn’t happen to literally any major construction project in the world

    Camp Nou

We had just won the league and the stadium will pay off for itself. Why do some people try to act as if renovating the stadium is a bad thing to try to push their agenda against Laporta????

    Camp Nou

Club was in a bad situation financially anyways by 2003. So renovating the stadium was unrealistic

Tbf it didn’t come into reality until 2008 which is the earliest I heard Barcelona thought of renovating the Camp Nou, which coincidentally coincided with Laporta’s final 2 seasons at the club. So basically he couldn’t do anything since his term would expire.

2023-24 in retrospect we weren't that that that bad. I mean yes we did finish 10 points behind Madrid, but it was the 2 Clasicos that decided everything in the end. Also a red card away from the UCL semi final. Anyways Xavi did lose the plot and it was the right decision for him to go.

It was clear to me Barcelona did not care for Europa in 2022-23, in 2021-22 they did though but couldn't do the comeback unfortunately...

I disagree with you on that one. I love and adore Luis Enrique, this guy was basically the heart of Barcelona between 1996 and 2004. His tenure there as a player was special and he had some amazing moments like his goals against Madrid in 97 and 99. As well as the UCL comeback against...

I agree with this and I resonate greatly with this paragraph. Something that makes me proud to be a Barcelona fan is the amazing football and the general ideology the club has. No club ever or has ever or will ever play as great as Barcelona did in its entire history and despite the oil clubs...

Worst Moment For You As a Barca Fan..

Cause it sounds like delusion. Barcelona were never after Ronaldo in 2009. They had just won the treble and they just needed to sell Eto’o and find a replacement.

Worst Moment For You As a Barca Fan..

Wow that’s a very old reference. Tamudo 2007 was such a bad moment, tbf we kept screwing up our games. I believe the league was gone was we drew to Betis the week before Espanyol. If we didn’t concede that late goal we would’ve won LaLiga

    England

I couldn’t find the thread for English football but I want to know Despite the insane dominance by English clubs in the European cup starting from 1976-77 until 1984-85, how come England didn’t perform well in any international tournament in that time span. I mean when I say dominance I mean...
