    Ballon d'Or 2025

Ngl I saw that Xavi had the biggest effect on Dembele than any other coach in Barcelona. He took him from zero to hero, from getting booed against Bilbao to getting a standing ovation against Sociedad less than a year later.

I share the exact same opinion, it’s pretty nice to see someone with the same outlook as me regarding Laporta and Flick. Hopefully this season we will go to higher levels and continue playing our great football en route to conquest La Sexta Insha’Allah

    Hans-Dieter Flick

I agree with most of your post. Although I think and believe that Pep’s Barça was the peak of all football, performance wise and trophy wise. Flick’s Barça on the other hand revitalised the club and made it competitive consistently again.

I doubt we’ll score many goals if we try to be more defensively stable

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Man it’s part of our game, we won’t play this well and score this much if we don’t initiate the high press and high line. Our play style is high risk high reward and so far we reaped many rewards from it and I personally won’t have it any other way. Inter were the best defence last season and it...

Point is I don’t think any team whether they play offensively or defensively, can physically dominate and intimidate our players like the past. The team has grown so much over the past 4 years and I’m proud of the insane progress we made throughout the way.

Exactly, I saw de Jong played so well in the Inter game in Milan. He was so calm and I didn’t see any mistake from him in that game. Relaxed, calm and collective, he dominated the midfield and kept retaining possession while coordinating with Pedri. Shame a great performance like that ended in...

Also Icl if we had Joan Garcia, I reckon we wouldn’t concede 2 of those 7 goals.

Inter game we held our own very well and only small details such as set pieces screwed us up otherwise

Man even when the Gavi hype was strong in early 23/24, and I started hearing the Gavi is better than Pedri comments. I never ever agreed with such statements, I love Gavi and all but it is very disrespectful to even claim that he is near Pedri as a midfielder in general.

    José Mourinho

Then, he shouldn’t say it was a mistake if he himself is out of his depth and isn’t as great as he was anymore. Let’s be serious here when was the last time he mounted a respectable league title charge in the last 10 years. Ever since 2015, this man has been absolute shite and he’s too self...

Refereeing mistakes are part of the game. Also if you’re the so called “Special” One it is very pathetic to say the least

What a footballer, the best midfielder in the world. And I’m happy to see the English football environment finally realising his greatness. Funny thing is this is just a regular performance of his, imagine if they saw the game against Brest last season or the game against Atletico.
