Paying 40M for him would be worse than Arda transfer imo. Arda was actually a well established player who had good experience at a top club and was considered one of the best in Atleti squad. At 27 this guy will not get better and we should look at younger players like you said.- Icarium

If he comes here will we go with 4-2-3-1 formation? That is more suited to teams like Athletic who rely on heavy pressing game. Our style generally is a possession first, not a direct style which will be needed for 4-2-3-1, also that formation best goes with a target man and a plenty of crosses... -

Yep, i am also resigned to the idea that madrid are winning the Double. I don't know if they deserved but we have ourselves to blame for the shortcomings in both league and CL and there are so many of them. -

All things considered Valverde is the best bet, Sampoli is going to Argentina and Koeman seems to be interested in continuing his stint at everton. None of the other options are promising. -
