CL Quarter Final: PSG - Barca 2-3

Great half by the team and well set up by Xavi so far. Cubarsi is so impressive, Raphinha great half too.

CL Quarter Final: PSG - Barca 2-3

Enrique's career is basically built off the treble win with one of the best squads of all time. His work outside of that has been pretty average.

CL Quarter Final: PSG - Barca 2-3

    Raphinha is class.

CL Quarter Final: PSG - Barca 2-3

Raphinha is surely more of a goalscorer, but I think Dembele is the better player overall.

CL Quarter Final: PSG - Barca 2-3

People act like Dembele isn't a top winger... it took him 8 minutes to push our defensive line back to our goal. That is the effects of having a top 1v1 winger like that who has the athleticism to get in behind.

CL Quarter Final: PSG - Barca 2-3

Its to be expected since they are a top team, but even compared to the top Spanish teams, they seem far more athletic and physical.

    Champions League 23/24

Sorry, I thought you were arguing about this Saka dive.

    Champions League 23/24

That incident isnt even close to a pen. Absolute buffoonery from Serghei here. Saka literally runs into him and Neuer holds his ground. He isnt obliged to move out the way for Saka as he was there first.

    Champions League 23/24

Arsenal are hovering between the gap of great club/top club. They need that marquee victory that breaks the mental barrier and puts them over the edge. That's often how it is when contenders make a jump. They need that big victory to make them believe and mark a new era. It could be this one...

    Champions League 23/24

To be fair, Arsenal have been much better.

    Let's talk about Xavi's replacement (2024)

Well, to be honest, it is surprising that the percentages aren't that different, considering the levels of both teams. ETH has had a less successful job at United than Xavi at Barca so far, for sure though.

    Premier League 23/24

It's insane how United play so abysmally and get results regularly.

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

Brighton doesn't have that much competition up front, it isn't about the competition but that he can't physically deal with starting for a team in the Prem. He needs to go to a slower league that's less intense.

    Xavi Hernández

Btw guys, it's still certain Xavi doesn't actually want to leave, this whole thing has been a tap dance to get affirmation/to make a point to the fans and board who he thinks don't recognise his managerial talent. If he is begged to stay, he will do it.

    Xavi Hernández

Those sides wont hire him on what hes shown already. He needs to show more to be hired by another top side, the reason we hired him is his history as a Barca player.

    Let's talk about Xavi's replacement (2024)

I mean yeah, if he did that he would be in convo for top managers in the world.

La Liga Round 29: Barca - Las Palmas 1-0

Great understanding there. Let's be honest... Raphinha has been a great signing.

    Liverpool

Weird fit, like really weird, not sure he is the right man just in terms of the squad profiles. At least he won't be anything like Klopp, no super vertical super intense football. As Birdy says above, Nagelsmann is the best fit for Liverpool's style.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

He is bad for Poland now because he's just a goal poacher at the moment and does little else. These players tend to struggle with weaker teams, especially internationally (games are usually more closed) even though Poland isnt really that bad, his group performance was awful and seems to not be...
