    Aleix Vidal

Sigh, is he injured? He went down after a really dirty tackle and was limping on the sidelines just before half-time. I hope that he's okay, but don't come out to play the second half regardless.

    Aleix Vidal

His pace is truly awesome, he just got in behind the defensive line after a great pass from Bartra from the deep. Got pulled in the shirt a lot as well, but still managed to beat his man.

    Aleix Vidal

Just got a hockey assist for what must have been the most Spanish goal of the year in the Spain - Costa Rica game. :D He's playing well so far, some nice and creative movement and good passing.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v4

Messi: "Barcelona gave me everything. I never have any desire to play for anybody else, I will be here for as long as they want me." [sl] Always good to hear :)

    5 - Carles Puyol

That's quite a strong card for Laporta I think. I'm sure I'm not the only fan who badly wants Puyol back in the club, and personally I really think he'll be a great sporting director. For instance, you just know he will have a great working relationship and communicate well with whoever is the...

    Daniel Alves

Always refreshing to hear Alves in pressers. Much like Xavi in interviews, he speaks much more unfiltered from the heart. No sense of media training overshadowing and clouding the answers.

    Josep Maria Bartomeu

That was Zubi, and he deserves credit for finding and signing Lucho, Rakitic, MAtS etc. Bartomeu just went with it, he knows very little of football and basically let the sporting director do his job. The funny thing is that Bartomeu fired Zubi, the one who signed Lucho in the first place...

    Penal Madrid

This is consistent with the joke me and my brother have going that Carvajal looks like he works as a lumberjack in between games.

Luis Enrique extends contract to 2017

Was it Alba he had the bet with I wonder...? Both of them pull it off nicely, though. :)

    UEFA Champions League 2014-15

Alves should be picked over Ivanovic 100/100 times. I guess they had to do it like this so the EPL doesn't feel completely left out though. Without him there would be zero players from England in that team.

    Josep Maria Bartomeu

Interesting times ahead, really looking forward to see how the elections turn out. Most of all, I'm just really happy that the club has landed on both feet after an incredibly tumultous year. It finally started to turn around in January, and now look at us - we're now in a much more stable...

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

They probably cut a single frame picturing the Balon d'Or into the filmroll every 5 minutes so it's the only thing people think about when they leave the screening

    Martin Odegaard

Yeah, that was a great move - as was the neat drible that preceded it. Massively impressive control and vision for a 16 year old. Norways best player by far yesterday, he was behind almost all the chances we created.

    Daniel Alves

Oh no, he's called another presser? I'm not missing this one  Must remember to buy some popcorn for the occasion.

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

That will be the grand finale. There will be a crescendo in the music, and the "SIIIIUUUUU" will be backed by a full orchestra as the camera slowly pans to his face just before it fades to black. I sense an Oscar might be coming his way.

    Barça's Transfers and Rumors

Roberto needs another season with more gametime playing the rotation role for Busquets, he was consistently great whenever called upon to play DM this season. Impressed me a lot, if he can keep this up he has a future here.

    Luis Enrique

Some more news from MD. They haven't reached the final agreement yet, but I'd be surprised if hammering out the details ends up taking more than a few hours. The board resigns later today, they'll get it done in time I'm sure. 608271613944057856

    Gerard Piqué

DonAndres Wow, watching that video of all his involvement really shows how incredibly important he was. Almost every single involvement he had was superb. I had forgotten how he kept winning headers in the box, just fantastic positioning, focus and fighting spirit from him. It's funny, I was so...
