    No way do we rotate in a game like this. And what on earth has Jasper done to "deserve" starting CL matches? He hasn't even played a game since pre-season and Mats hasn't done anything wrong to warrant getting benched like that, which would be an indicator that his time at Barca is coming to end.

    Valdes was awful in the air. Flapped at crosses damn near every time the ball was in the air. Even in that final season when he was in god mode he found himself in no man's land as the ball flew over his head every game.

    He's able to contribute now it seems which is surprising to me but my main worry is that he'll pull a Mathieu and decline sharply as he ages. Signing a 29 year old is rarely a good piece of business.

    It was a continuation of the contract he had prior to leaving under Lucho from what I can tell. We'll probably renew him before it becomes an issue. He seems to be a favorite of Valverde even despite his stamina issues so I think this shouldn't be a problem.
