Tricky, he indeed stagnated. I thought he would be above what he is now 1,5 years ago. Stat wise a very good season, but he just isn't commanding on the field and doesn't dictate play. Oh my god what have I just read???? How on earth can people want Suarez, Rooney or Gomez for out squad? Even Lewa is highly discutable to consider. What we need, as said MANY times; CB, GK and maybe a wide forward. None of the players mentioned fits that profile. -

Still way too nonchalant on the ball. That is something I really dislike about Thiago, which bothers me even more since it's nothing technical. It's a mental issue. -

If they really want a cheap GK, why not get Stekelenburg? a) He is a good 'footballing' goalkeeper, b) he is cheap and c) has a lot of experience. He is sure way cheaper than Ter Stegen, Courtois or De Gea, and imo better than Guaita. -

Don't you forget that the ED is a) no way as big as De Telegraaf, just a small local newspaper that doesn't even have a great relationship with the club itself. They are actually quite criticasters of PSV and it's management, so apparently you have never read ED? b) Strootman most overrated...- Catorce

De Telegraaf is a Amsterdam-based newspaper which I personally find to be not a top quality newspaper here. But still, they are the biggest in our country (but so are other 'big newspapers in the world like News of the World and other tabloid mags). Very true indeed, but I am glad Scott won it. He missed so many putts this weekend that went within centimeters of the hole! Amazing that he did it on 18, then Angel got it within a meter right after! Very good playoff, one of the best in terms of high level playing I have seen so far :)- Catorce
