What do "Fenerbahce wasn't my level" mean at all? You took the job, made a big show for the fans at your introduction.

Indeed, there's the sense of local loyalty to culture. I have no idea what corporations are based in Barcelona. SEAT are based there, but who else?

Well, from what I've read few years ago the chairman of Adidas serves also as the chairman of Bayern. But, of course, the football operations are delegated to people linked to the club. I believe that's Oliver Kahn currently. But again, Adidas/Audi/Allianz are all local Munich brands.

Keep in mind in Spain the examples of private ownership to big foreign money, such as Valencia and Malaga, became complete failure.

I don't think these are good comparisons. Tickets vs. voting rights for a cultural institution which is FC Barcelona. The likely scenario is selling a portion of the club, like I gave the Bayern scenario.

What I mean is they need to hold a referendum to sell 100% of the club. Socios might be cowards about Catalan independence, fearing police batons, but voting is a different matter.

That's one of the desperate scenarios and what I mean - the Bayern model - Adidas/Audi/Allianz owning 25% of the club stakes. Selling the whole club could turn into a complete cultural revolution in Catalonia.

There aren't many options left IMO. It's no longer 2001, when Florentino fixed their debt by selling the old training ground to corporations and built a new one on a land in what was then outskirts of Madrid.

Yeah, that's it. We'll keep repaying Barto era debts for many years to come. There's no short term solution, not even with finished Camp Nou. Unless more club assets are sold, but I hope the club doesn't get to a such point. That was shock therapy by Laporta in the first year. It's maddening...

Most of our debt is owed to banks, loans made under Bartomeu to make us Galacticos. I read it's around 400-500m and it fits the narrative of the stellar fuckups on the transfer window the club made after Neymar left.

About 1.6bn, but it's completely related to Bernabeu stadium, which doesn't count for expenses in the salary cap. Similar to Camp Nou renovation.

Further reading on the article on debt closing, money owed to players, that we paid this summer: - Umtiti - 1.4m - Griezmann - 1.1m - Coutinho - 1m - Dembele - 750k - Sergi Roberto - 700k Overall we closed out debt worth in total of 19m.

The final installments were paid to Messi and the rest in June 2025. 7m to Messi, 1.3m to Busi and 1.1 to Alba. Those figures all go into account when salary cap is calculated (debt repayment). But the big debt which stood at 1.3bn when Ratameu dropped the mic, have been restructured in...

Barca are 112m short in income from February. La Liga director, Javier Gomez mentioned it. It's the VIP boxes for 100m. They don't count them as income, not before Camp Nou reopens. Barca took La Liga to court to be able to register Olmo, it worked for the time being. But now the new audit says...

I think Flick has different philosophy about the role of the classic AM. He already has Pedri and Frenkie as playmakers, so why not employ that role as presser/line breaker with the energy of Fermin/Gavi when teams play long balls against Barca? One frame from tonight's game in my mind is Fermin...

CL Round: Newcastle - Barca 1-2

The reason why I felt positive about this loan deal is Rashford being versatile as winger and CF. My issue with him has been always the professionalism.

CL Round: Newcastle - Barca 1-2

Both Rashford goals came from CF zones. I'd say Lewandowski/Ferran are under threat, rather than wingers.

Poor game on first look. But he pressed like hell in the second half. IMO he did the dirty job in this match.
