Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

There just was a lot of world class quality players during that time period. It was very competitive.

    Ousmane Dembélé

135M transfer. They need to justify his cost. Not even Grealish cost that much. Also demboulz is in the age range where he shoudl be approaching the playing peak of his career. They just want to make sure they can milk him for all it's worth. If he flops this season, he's probably gone and they...

    Mavericky Puig

That photo is so hard to discern that he can deny that was him.

    Xavi Hernández

Mine as well bring back Ronaldinho while we're at it

    Daniel Alves

As long as you have the talent, you can learn advanced skills/techniques from other great players. Some players do get better at playmaking, goal scoring, etc after another such player arrives. There is some merit to being an understudy. Or at least a person that copies from others and...

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

    Match in five. Messigican

    Christian Mate Pulisic

That too, I'm not going to lie about that. I do think La Liga is more suited to his style. And he looks better on an attacking team. Tuchel will never unlock him with that defensive football at Chelsea.

    Christian Mate Pulisic

He's very capable, my only issue with him is his short passing and final third decision-making. But if you need him to be the assigned "dribbler" ala Messi or Neymar, he can definitely fulfill that role.

    Christian Mate Pulisic

    Xavi wants Pulisic? :messi:

    World Cup 2022

    England wailing on minnows

    Cr150

No it’s not. In terms of the number of teams Europe has there are only few top nations that pretty much have relevance

    Neymar Jr.

Messi was better at dribbling in tight spaces at high speeds. Neymar only was able to do that when he had sufficient space in front of him or a good foul. Not saying Neymar wasn?t good in tight spaces just that Messi had the ability to do it at higher speeds and change of acceleration. They...

    Xavi Hernández

Training? Xavi should have seen it in past matches.

    Xavi Hernández

I thought Roberto wasn?t good enough for midfield? I guess these are desperate times

    Xavi Hernández

Seems like someone is trying to repeat something. Taking inspiration from the past is ok but I?m a little wary about living in the past.
  16. Jadentheman

    Xavi Hernández

 this will backfire if true. Unless Alves is coaching alongside him on his staff, be a waste of a signing
  17. Jadentheman

    Daniel Alves

You're trolling. Pro sports will also favor the young. Those that are talented, focused, and dedicated could last longer than the average career spans, but it's a fight against time. In this sport players from ages 16-28 have advantage.
  18. Jadentheman

    Daniel Alves

It is. You don't chase the past. You look towards the future.

    Ansu Fati (loaned to Monaco)

Speed and strength wise: yes. Probably not endurance though
  20. Jadentheman

    Xavi Hernández

These guys know full well how this entire process works. It?s a job and it?s professional. But it?s also a cutthroat industry with constant competition from the younger and hungrier guys. What did they expect? This is true for any footballing team, or any pro sports league, team, solo., etc...
