    Quique Setien

Pep was a great player for Barca so automatically will be respected by the players. He had status within the club that makes a huge difference. At Setien's age, if he was gonna be significantly successful in football he would have been so before now

    Arjen Robben

Everyone knew what he was gonna do, but stopping him was another matter :D

Lliga | Round 33: FC Barcelona - Atletico Madrid 2-2

The barely hammer anyone. Potential for a draw but don't see us losing

    Arthur

He's seeing out the season with us isn't he? So he's kind of still here for now

    Kalidou Koulibaly

If pace is one of their assets it can be. Fergie sold Stam at around 29 because he felt he had lost a step although it turned out it was a bad move

    Ernesto Valverde

He'll get to coach Parejo after all

    Thiago Translantara

Pep has also identified the wrong players. That's why you need a sporting director to share the responsibility

    Mavericky Puig

Not necessarily all the remaining matches, but you were implying that our midfield needs to be liberated of Messi which is slightly unfair. While I don't like him dropping deep too much, our midfield lacks creativity

    Josep Maria Bartomeu

I think we'd have to finish outside the top 4 for that happen

    Arthur

Honestly a player like Deco would be a massive upgrade right now

    Arthur

I wouldn't say it's shady. Everyone and their dog knows what we're doing here

    Quique Setien

Yeah, a coach with more status within the club will be able to make bold decisions. I don't really understand the resistance from some people to approach Xavi. It's not like he doesn't want to be a coach. He must think he is very capable of succeeding. If he believes he can make a success of...

    Lionel Messi - v7

These are my sentiments as well tbh. Some people don't realise how lucky we have been to have him all these years

    Mavericky Puig

We are weaker without Messi. I really don't see a convincing argument that says otherwise.

    Quique Setien

Yeah that's what I'm saying. Xavi seems like the best choice but it might be preferred that he starts in 2021. We never get coaches with an established name or 'outside ideas', so a former player who we know has great leadership qualities seems our best bet

    Quique Setien

A coach with respect would be able to make changes to the team like Pep did or Zidane with Madrid.

    Quique Setien

We pretty much got a taste of that in 2013.

    Thiago Translantara

Well we are known for our style of football, aren't we? Of course there are more pragmatic approaches that can be implemented, but we are meant to play beautiful football. Xavi will want to bring the right mentality and will have the respect of the players, fans, media and board.

    Quique Setien

Not defending EV, but he definitely was a bigger name than QS and had achieved more

    Raheem Sterling

Sterling appears to be made of tougher stuff. He gets absolutely blasted by tabloids in the UK yet comes back stronger
