Flick has not even had one friendly match and the forum knives are out already??? 🤣 no manager stands a chance here if this is the attitude. Let us judge at the end of the season.

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Y Yeah, let's bring Xavi back. Maybe we can lose 6 zip to Villareal this time. Not to mention the consistent El and CL humiliations.

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Flick is saying the things I want to hear. Goals matter, not possession. Fitness is paramount. If the players aren't fit, they can't press and they will wilt later in the game. We've seen that plenty of times. Tactics matter. Hopefully this guy won't replicate Xavis shambolic reign. We should...

We need a proper DM. That's first, than a left winger. Also time to make some sales and not get ripped off in the process. Laportas obsession with forwards and his big mouth are going to bite us in the backside.

The band work seems to be a key aspect of the training regime. Xavis training had a little sprinkled in here and there but nowhere near the amount I've seen in these training videos. Also the sessions seem professional and to the point. No bs extras.

    Matthijs de Ligt

De Ligts feet look like they're stuck in cement. The man has the turning radius of the Titanic. Hope he goes to Utd.

Valverde was a fuckin cuck. I really disliked him. Amigos ran the show and he did fuck all. I really believe those two big CL defeats brought about a culture of hesitancy and fear in Europe. This defeatist attitude is going to take a lot of hard work and success to overcome.

    Vitor Roque

In his first couple of seasons people here were laughing at Vinicius and making fun of Real Madrid . They said Fati was better. Look at what happened. The club, particularly Xavi and Deco are to blame. Deco mislead the player and Xavi mismanaged him completely. It seems we only have patience...

I've noticed alot more strength work with bands are being done. Xavi was all about endless rondos.

He'll be given time. Unless we are in ninth or 10th place he won't be sacked. Pretty funny how we kept Xavi in a job despite El and CL humiliations and than mediocre la liga teams tearing us a new one. Remember Villareal? Besides its not his fault there are so many injuries that haven't...

    Hans-Dieter Flick

It was supposed to be soon. I'm glad the club is taking its time, no need to rush. It's not as if Flick is gonna provide some controversial soundbites. It'll be the usual run of the mill stuff. I think the transfer market is alot more important than Flicks presentation.

    4 - Ronald Araújo

Let's face it. Prime Umtiti vs prime Araujo is no match. Prime Umtiti could do it all. Beast in the air, tackle and passing was on another level. He was sooooo good. It's too bad he got that injury and than elected to play the world cup. That destroyed him. In comparison Araujo can be out of...

    Copa América 2024

When I was watching the matches you'd het annoying advertising running across the bottom of the screen and extremely annoying commentary with commentators mistaking players fir someone else.

    Copa América 2024

I was there in the US in 94 when the WC was being played. Virtually noone knew or cared about it. Nowadays it's different but America is America. The love for commercial breaks and cheesy merchandise will never die there. It's sort of the same here in Oz with AFL and NRL culture.

    Nico Williams

My issue with Nico is his ceiling. I don't think he will het substantially better. If you're buying a young player, you want to see that there is room to grow and get even better. I don't get that vibe. He also seems pretty one dimensional. We should not be paying big money for him only for...

    Hans-Dieter Flick

I hated Valverde because of that. He let amigos do whatever they wanted and gave players the day off too often. A culture of lethargy and complacency set in and we've struggled with that in recent years.
