    Biggest/Most intense derby in football.

Many neutral fans watch el clásico because of the players on show, and because its two of the biggest clubs in europe. But i dont believe that they feel the intensity that fans of the two clubs feel. However if i watch the istanbul derby, even though i hate turkish football, i still cant help...

    Victor Sánchez Mata

He isn't awful, and has improved somewhat during his time in the first team. But i cant see him peaking at a level signigicantly higher than the one he is at. I guess pep uses him because he is a squad player and is happy to be that.

    Who should take free kicks?

I dont think dani's was much better, although im willing to be corrected. You want to at least work the keeper, and i find xavi does that much more than dani.

    Who should take free kicks?

Xaviiii! They're all inconsistent, but xavi is the one i feel can trouble the keeper the most. Although henry used to be good, but if my memory serves me correctly, he has only taken one while at fcb.

    Biggest/Most intense derby in football.

When was the last time major violence broke out at el clásico? Im not an advocate for violence..the opposite in fact. But i dont see that a derby can be called intense if 95% of the people that go to the game dont feel any threat of violence. Unless i have the wrong benchmark for "intense".

    Biggest/Most intense derby in football.

Any intense rivalry can be called a derby, its just that the vast majority are local, and hence people associate a derby with a local rivarly. If all derbies were local, then why the phrase "local derby"? That would be like saying "local local rivalry".

    The Ramón Calderón Memorial Thread

No, its a bet between a culé and a madridista based on how many of calderón's promises actually come off. He promised kaká, ronaldo and alonso and they have all been purchased by the club. I cant think what other promises calderón made that have come off.

Here is an email i wrote to snyde. Thought i would share it with you. I am very sad to see him go and i couldnt force myself to write about him. However i was speaking to snyde and this just came out: Its also a shame that you feel nothing towards samu. But i guess i cant blame you. A lot has...

Most Important Person in FCBs History

I think its pretty much a given that the founder of a club or society is going to be regarded as the most important because without that person, the club wouldn't exist. So im going to refrain from naming gamper. Therefore i will say that without a doubt the most important man in our...
