It's not broke, but it's not perfect, either. The system has to change at some point due simply to the age difference. Might as well let them switch competitions. Bravo will finally have some real big game competition and Mats will finally get some decent game time.

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

The verdict is still out on whether or not the Suarez loan was successful. I honestly don't see any way Suarez succeeds here no matter how well he does at Sevilla barring some kind of revelation season for him. Samper is very unlikely to jump ship to England when he's this close to the first...

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

No he doesn't. Loans very rarely work, and one could argue that Rafinha's loan only worked because his coach at both his loan club and his parent club were the same man.

Whoa there, let's not get too excited here. Even if you only look at goalkeepers over the course of last season, David de Gea was the best keeper in Europe by some distance. If any goalkeeper were to deserve a spot up there with Messi and Ronaldo, it'd be him.

    Munir El Haddadi

Both Munir and Sandro will probably be used across the front three, just like they were before Suarez was able to play, most likely. Munir can play as a winger when he has a midfield (Patric, Gumbau, and Halilovic is not a midfield) and a competent striker (Of which Dongou is not).

The competition for the gk spot really is hot between him and Bravo, huh? I remember Bravo cutting his Christmas break short in much the same way.

Of course you'd say that, you wanted to loan out the keeper that went on to win the Copa and the CL  Bravo's passing game is nowhere near ter Stegen's. Stegen can hit a pass to past midfield and should even have gotten an assist for it, if it weren't for those flag happy refs.

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

Samper is not forced out by the signing of Turan. He'll either be backup for Rakatic or backup for Busquets at best for the next several seasons.

They're more or less the same, imo. Difference is, Bravo is 11 years older.

    Munir El Haddadi

Everything about the B team was god awful. Every. Single. Thing. Hard to say he didn't perform well on the wing when not a single player was. Adama played on the wing as well and didn't do jack shit either. Lucho must recognize this, as he's promoted Sandro and Munir despite the awful season...

    Pedro Rodriguez

The amount of goals we score against low tier teams doesn't matter. Do you really think we'd have destroyed the likes of Bayern, City, and PSG with Pedro starting instead of Neymar?
  12. Z

    Pedro Rodriguez

So does Adama. His work rate doesn't have nearly the same value under a coach who demands his entire team work hard. Even Messi tracks back to defend nowadays. Enthusiasm? Is it something more than what any other starting XI player has? And if so, should we care? No way in hell is this...

    Munir El Haddadi

Reminds me of Gareth Bale lol. Crossing with his left foot despite being a right winger most of the time.

    FC Barcelona B (Barça Atlètic)

Halilovic hasn't been officially promoted, either. If Adama is any indication that promotion clause doesn't mean jack shit.

    Sandro Ramirez

Great to see the strike duo promoted. You could kind of tell Lucho wanted to do this from the beginning last season, though. The meltdown kind of made him draw back on that.

Would most like it on Samper, tbh, but even Arda would be a better choice for it. Alen can have 26 or something. Vidal is almost guaranteed to either get 17 or 2. If he gets 2, then Alen can have 17

    Pedro Rodriguez

"I won't guarantee minutes and I will not tell them lies." Permabench role confirmed for next season if he stays, then. Might even be a bit worse than last season with both Munir and Sandro being promoted.
  18. Z

    Munir El Haddadi

No, he won't go out on loan. Both Munir and Sandro will be with the first team this season. Straight from Lucho's mouth.

Not good enough for a starting spot in the face of decent competition.

The thought of that makes me sick.
