    Luis Enrique

With the way Busquets has been playing recently this wouldn't work, none of the players provide a passing engine in midfield and Rakitic will be busy covering for Busi in a midfield that is all width and no control. Also without rafinha/iniesta all our attacks will be funneled down the wings...

    Adama Traore

Yeah he fits there more than Pedro or Deulofeu do. But thats only if Lucho keeps this formation/system up knowing him we might never see it again.

    Andrés Iniesta

Has iniesta ever had a full season or even a season when he is on form for the majority of games? Every season going back to when he debuted I remember him having issues. Maybe 10-11 but he's had down periods in everyother season that I can remember.

    Andrés Iniesta

We sold ronaldinho because not only because of his downward spiral but also because Messi was ready to take over, the only person currently close to replacing Iniesta or Xavi is rafinha and he's not ready yet. I dont count samper cause Lucho wants him as a pivot.

    Luis Enrique

Prime iniesta would've threaded it back to him and BOOM goal

    Andrés Iniesta

Rafinha was suspended anyway and has gotten plenty of time and will get more in the future.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

How does the heat map point to that? The heat map says he gave messi a free role to play wherever he thinks is the best to play in the current phase of the game, like every other coach before him.

    Andrés Iniesta

I thought it ironic. And he did strip a PSG player of the ball before the pass.
  9. D

    Andrés Iniesta

And even with all that horrible passing he still manages to get an assist

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

That explains alot everygame he seems to be a little sharper, a little faster. His dribbling against PSG was the best its been all season imo in the first half. He went past 3-4 players multiple times and if the system was more refined we probably would've torn PSG apart.

    Luis Enrique

Or Iniesta's goal in 2009, Long ball cross that was ineffective that happened to find its way to messi and the rest is history.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Yeah, he's recovered his prime pace this season.
  13. D

    Jeremy Mathieu

I'd rather have Alba as LWB instead of Pedro as RWB since Bartra seems to handle himself better than Matheiu in this formation.
  14. D

    Marco Verratti

Imagine a midfield of Halilovic-Veratti-Samper :worthy: would probably rule the world.
  15. D

    Marc Bartra

His sliding tackles are improving as well.
  16. D

    Andrés Iniesta

Yeah its no excuse he's really hot and cold but hopefully Lucho knocks some sense into him.
  17. D

    Andrés Iniesta

The new system probably didnt help either, Lucho can't change the system every game and expect all the players to get it instantly.
  18. D

    Marc Bartra

Looked out of place in the first half but got into the role, Lucho needs to test these kinds of things out in easier games instead of a baptism by fire.
  19. D

    Andrés Iniesta

He has a huge burden to carry the team this game hope he can handle it.

Champions League: FC Barcelona - Paris Saint Germain 3-1

We've conceded less goals with our current lineup than the 2010 one at the same points of the season, so again you are basing your argument on your OPINIONS rather than fact.
