    Jeremy Mathieu

Defenders routinely have some of their best years from the age 30-34 or 35. So the age factor shouldn't even be in people's minds. Which is perfect for barcelonas cb signing schedule...... One every 4 years or so.

    Sergio Busquets

I really hope Lucho does what most people think He'll do and move Masche back to midfield. Not even talking about playing both at the same time (though I'd give it a chance). Just have Masche there as a backup to the boss will mean more rest for him. The drop in class from Busquets to Masche is...

    Gerard Deulofeu

Really impressed with Delo. Need to see him play with the big boys though to see how he will really fit in with the team.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Agreed but I'll just add that Messi most certainly did carry them through the group stage. Everyone was a mess except him.

Final: Germany - Argentina 1-0(ET) - Germany are WC Champions for the 4th time

Anti football? They've held the majority of the possession in most of the games they've played. You can't play anti football while doing that.

    Barça's Transfers and Rumors

Our defense isn't as bad as some make it out to be but remember that for the first half of the season Valdez was arguably the best keeper in the world. He made up for a lot of our defenders mistakes

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Me too! I seriously think we should try playing with both of them in a 4-2-3-1. Especially at the beginning of the season with the Suarez ban and Neymar recovery. Even after everyone is back we could see it with the 3 attacking mids being Messi on the right, iniesta middle and Neymar left...

Sell song and move him back to his natural position.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

There wasn't anything wrong with him. He was actually trying and had just gotten done exerting tremendous energy trying to make something happen for once. He had to catch his breath a little. You'd think most of you would be thrilled with him huffing and puffing. That proves he was trying

    Cesc Fàbregas

No team has all their players in form at all times. If you go back to the first half of the season iniesta was the one who was being questioned. Not to the point of selling him like some of you are saying for fabregas, which is ridiculous. Fabregas was arguably our best attacking player in the...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

It's cause that's his signature shot. Nobody chips the ball like Messi

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

That's one of the things I'm looking forward to most of the WC. Messi is going to go even harder than he did today which is scary.... For the opposition

    Penal Madrid

Their goal came from a corner that shouldn't have been due to Benzema being offside. Then they needed a deflection for the ball to go into the back of the net. So much for Madrid being in "amazing form". Needing luck to win at home against elche

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Its not about him playing well. He always plays well in my opinion. Its the difference in effort which worries me. Unless your point was that Rayo gives more space and therefore he runs more to hit those gaps. But even then that's no excuse for me. In a game of this magnitude he shoulda been...

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

Lazy as always except for the last game against Rayo which makes no sense. Last game he was even helping press the opponent to win the ball back and making tons of runs off the ball. I thought that he would bring that into the champions league but for whatever he didn't.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

This! Are we the only ones who noticed? It's like messi and to a lesser extent the team thought that 1-0 away was good enough. They could have absolutely put this tie to bed. I'm still satisfied with the performance and result, but it could have been over right now.

    Alexis Sanchez

Who would have known that he'd still be playing for Barca 9 months ago?

    Xavi Hernández

Sergio Roberto must not be looking good in training or something cause when he was playing at the beginning of the season he looked amazing. But if its just due to Tata not giving him a chance then that's a shame cause I think he'd be a great fit for Xavis spot if he gets more experience there.
