    23 - Jules Kounde

    Poor form.

La Liga Round 7: Barca - Sociedad 2-1

And here we go. Roony, not a bad little player. But for those wide spots these days. You gotta have pace. Just a little bit.

La Liga Round 7: Barca - Sociedad 2-1

In the end, were spoilt. It's a decent game where Flick is trying to bleed in some extra depth with Droony.

La Liga Round 7: Barca - Sociedad 2-1

Well. Our corner goal output certainly gone up with Rashford. Knows how to zing don't he.

La Liga Round 7: Barca - Sociedad 2-1

Remiro just done a Lenglet to save that.

La Liga Round 7: Barca - Sociedad 2-1

Certainly together. Roony at RW probably needs an offensive FB. Eric seems better forward than Kounde. And DRO being a kid obviously needs to be surrounded by pros if dropped in there.

La Liga Round 7: Barca - Sociedad 2-1

Or 45. Flick likes those early subs. Remember when Valverde used to do those. Like start Malcom and be like "see I don't have anything against him". Then stick him on the left and take him off after 45 minutes and then you wouldn't see him again for a few months .

But what really makes you feel safe, is Gerard Martin.

La Liga Round 7: Barca - Sociedad 2-1

What a day for the Philippines. Been informed that the whole country has stayed up to watch their prodigy start his first ever official game at Barcelona. If he scores, might even treat myself to a half egg / half duck balut in his honour.

Fuck. So we might actually lose this.

    U20 World Cup 2025

Started last night. Got to be honest, created this thread as was wondering why Cortes wasn't in the B squad, then saw he was with the Spain U20 (didn't think he was called) so here we are. Tonight is a tasty little game with Spain vs Morocco @ 22CET. Morocco got a nice little development going...

    4 - Ronald Araújo

    It's a pickle indeed.

La Liga Round 7: Barca - Sociedad 2-1

It's coz it's at the Johan Cryuff so it's an easy win even if Xavi was manager. Talking seriously though, I wouldn't have gone with Dro & Roony to start but one (Dro) with Ferran in. High chances one gets hooked after 45 btw.

    4 - Ronald Araújo

With a loss not being too costly at this stage of the CL, I'd give him the chance to continue this form. Might be well off the mark, but his confidence and focus looks better right now than last season. Besides, Inigo is gone and Cubarsi hasn't been great this season thus far. So unlike last...

    4 - Ronald Araújo

Has looked better last games and a tad more comfortable on the ball. dd the goal to that, and I'd say his confidence is getting there. Stick with him for PSG. Shame the game isn't at the JC Stadium coz that would make it an easy win.

    Dean Huijsen

Kid will probably ride out the criticisms. First time in his career this kind of pressure though. Welcome to madrid Time and time again we see though, it's different playing nice and well in one of EPL gambling teams than it is at a top side.

FC Barcelona: Win of the youth system

Taekwondo types. Never trust those Taekwondo guys on football.

    Barcelona's next number 9

We currently have a manager who can get the most out of goalscorers in an attacking system. Get a striker who fits the profile he wants and has the mental strength to succeed at a big club. If Flick wants Guirassy and Deco concurs, then go for him. EDIT Didn't actually realsie Guirassy was...

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Read this by Tora, who is from elsewhere around here, seemingly a very smart guy. But misses the mark here imo. So strange to read digs towards Xavi time and time again. One would never even compare these two in any other job. Xavi is like a graduate who just came out of university, through...

    Hans-Dieter Flick

Can't compare football to other corporate jobs. If having a 20 year football career day in day out under world class managers, experiencing winning everything on the pitch is rated the same experience as a graduate then you missed the mark. And even then Xavi had 3 years as experience as...
