No, but then neither was Wirtz, he won that in the 23/24 season with Bellingham winning it the season before and Kane winning it the season after. The only reason he is playing is because he cost a lot of money. If an academy player were putting in these performances they would be benched and that would be the end of it, the team would not be adjusted to try and fit them in, and so it should be with Wirtz.
