    Gerard Deulofeu

I never argued it wasn't but the fact the touch wasn't deliberate means it wasn't a pre-meditated act to get the player sent off. He simply knocked it too far and fell over hoping for a free kick. Big deal.

    Gerard Deulofeu

Look at the reply. The ball hits his standard leg first and he is outside the penalty area. The heavy touch certainly wasn't deliberate.

    John Stones

Throw in Baines, Coleman, Jags, Cleverly, McCarthy and Mirallas and you can understand why Everton fans are a bit pissed off at the moment. We have been scoring for fun but just can't stop teams scoring against us although it doesn't help having a clown in goals. Historically the 4th most...

    Gerard Deulofeu

I'm not disagreeing with that but I think it's just like a professional foul were the defender pulls him back when he knows he has been beaten to break the play. It's a yellow. Nothing more and no big deal. If I thought he was doing it to get the player sent off then that's a different matter...

    Gerard Deulofeu

I don't think that is what happened. I think he took a heavy touch. The challenge did come and he thought he would go over knowing that he was never getting the ball.

    John Stones

I don't know at this stage but I definitely think he's the kind of player Barca should be keeping an eye on. As a team Everton haven't been good defensively especially at home so I don't know how much it is down to individuals or other factors.

    John Stones

I think he could do with some time on the bench but don't confuse that with me thinking he is over-rated. He's not and will one day go on to be one of the very best and something which is quite rare. For a team that likes to dominate possession there aren't too many John Stones to chose from...

    Wayne Rooney

I don't think Coleen was ever going to allow that to happen.

    Wayne Rooney

He was never better than Messi. From Messi's debut you could see he would go on to be a great however Rooney was considered a greater talent than Ronaldo at Utd. Which is almost as hard to believe.

    Gerard Deulofeu

Look all top players dive. They also constantly get their legs kicked at to slow them down. Football is about winning and that's all part of the game. If Deulofeu dives and gets a penalty I won't complain. If he dives to get out of the way of some brute coming in to wreck him then no one can...

    John Stones

I said "pretty awful all season". I didn't say he was an awful defender. He's just going through an awful run of form and if Jags wasn't injured would have been dropped by now for his own good. He's also not being helped by Martinez's kamikaze tactics.

    John Stones

It's looking like we should have but seriously Stones is young and has the ability. He will mature into a top player but he's not at that level yet. Frankly it's not good for football that teams like Chelsea etc are trying to poach players like Stones at his age. They should just leave them to...

    John Stones

He's been pretty awful all season. The tactics of Martinez aren't helping but he has definitely gone backwards this season. Perhaps listening to his hype.

    Gerard Deulofeu

He took a while to get up to speed. For some reason Deulofeu's touch is shocking for about 5-10 mins after coming on as sub. It happens every game. We needed that win.

    Gerard Deulofeu

I'm sure he loves Barca as well however I suspect he loves playing more.

    Gerard Deulofeu

If it's not mandatory then I'm not really worried. He loves playing for us and we love him plus he has a manager that believes in him. One day he might go back to Barca if he's good enough but if he has the choice I don't think it will be in the next couple of years. It's not necessarily how...

    Gerard Deulofeu

Has that been confirmed because I haven't see that anywhere.

    Gerard Deulofeu

I know but I still can't see Barca bringing him back this summer. If you watch him every week you would see that he's still not ready to step up to Barca's level and he's developing well. Barca have a buyback for another year so it doesn't really make sense for anyone to use it this summer.

    Gerard Deulofeu

He could be but I suspect he won't be since he will be playing for us.

    Jamie Vardy

No joke. It will be a big decision for Roy who he plays at the Euros between Kane and Vardy. Kane is the better footballer but Vardy runs all day and is a very intelligent player. He's like our own Steven Naismith on speed.
