    Raheem Sterling

Frankly he has even now lost a lot of that speed. At the Euros he couldn't go past players when he was one on one with them. He will have to seriously adjust his lifestyle if that is what it is causing it or I doubt he will last long there.

    José Mourinho

That interview was a statement of intent. Basically I am at the top club in England and we intend to win everything so I don't need to engage in any antics. He tried his happy approach at City to throw of his old image and now he's trying his experienced elder statesman approach at Utd. When...

    Raheem Sterling

I wonder if he will leave City. With Nolito going there and playing in his position on the left I can't see him getting many games.

    Eden Hazard

He passes when he gets near goal or wants to use someone for a one-two. In other words after he puts his head down and starts running and then runs into defenders. He never plays the early pass and as we saw with Deulofeu and Lukaku last season Lukaku lives of that. He's a great dribbler and...

    Everton

Thanks. We have a good team and an owner who is looking to seriously invest. Koeman was the manager who gave him his debut and after a trying 3 years I don't blame him wanting to go somewhere he will be the star player in his favourite position. Plus he doesn't have to move house.

    Everton

We will next season. Apparently Juan Mata is next after Witsel. With those two and Barkley that's a half decent midfield.

    Eden Hazard

Hazard never looks up. He just puts his head down and starts running. Coleman got his tactics spot on. He defended the center and just let Hazard run into his defenders. Fantastic ability on the ball and good enough for someone to build a team around however he needs to learn to pass.

Axel Witsel might be off to Everton for £30m. Apparently we have agreed price and terms.

    Harry Kane

Dier wasn't good either. They were all awful. The only ones that performed to their ability were probably the two full backs. However they weren't helped by Roy who looked to have a 4-4-2 diamond formation in mind until the last friendly and when he realized then it wasn't going to work just...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

Not every club can promise playing in the Nou Camp and alongside Messi and Iniesta. Deeney certainly isn't worth that but he's a decent player and they will probably just use the money from Vardy.

    Dele Alli

Ross Barkley always gets blame for giving the ball away and always has over a 90% pass completion record. Funny that. It's interesting to see how some players are viewed differently by the media. Maybe now the honeymoon will be over with Alli and Barkley will no longer be the scapegoat of failed...

    Gerard Deulofeu

One complaint last season was his stamina. He seemed to not be able last 90 mins. By all accounts Koeman will sort that out. I think Koeman will be a good manager for Gerry. Martinez was too soft and Gerry has matured since his time at Sevilla. I'm really hoping it will be a big season for him...

    John Stones

He might not have a choice. He still has 3 years on his contract and if Everton are offered twice as much then they could say City or else stay.

    Dimitri Payet

He was awesome last season. Created 30% more chances than anyone in Europe (Messi was 2nd). I wanted us to get him. I'm surprised someone bigger didn't go for him.

    Denis Suarez

Look at it another way. All those players that have been sold with buybacks you have got money for. I would guess the money you get for them will offset what you need to pay to take one or even two back and realistically that's about how many if lucky will be Barca quality.

    John Stones

I think he might start. He has been reasonably impressive for England lately apart from his slip and England aren't exactly blessed in that department.

    John Stones

Stones has been coming back into form over the last few games. We are starting to see the real John Stones again. Good to see.

    John Stones

He would suit Barca. In possession he really is incredibly good and his defending isn't that bad. Every player at Everton struggled last year and frankly the mistakes Stones made were blown out of proportion. It didn't help that we could neither control possession or defend as a team. Hopefully...

    Mauricio Lemos

Apparently he has been linked to us today. I can't imagine we are serious given the fact we don't have a manager. Stinks of using us to up the price. Is he any good?

    Eden Hazard

He was injured. Mourinho just insisted on playing him because he didn't have the players to replace him with. Typical Jose. Winning is everything. Just like Costa the year before.
