La Liga | Round 3: FC Barcelona - Getafe 2-1

I thought he did okay. Pretty solid defensively, made some good tackles but also a few very strange unprovoked passing errors.

At least Gavi and Nico both looked really bright in the last minutes when they came on.

Yeah I know, that's why I mentioned he wasn't close to Xavi, who was a much more complete midfielder. But I always thought their ''main role'' was kind of similar.

    Premier League 2021/2022

Surely he was? What else would he be? He's not a ball-winning or a box-to-box midfielder either. He's a deep-lying playmaker imo, one that doesn't necessarily rack up assists but builds the play from the back and transitions defense to attack. Kind of like Xavi, not quite on his level though...

    Premier League 2021/2022

I am still perplexed at Thiago's sharp decline since going to Liverpool. At Bayern he looked like one of the best creative midfielders in the world, and in Liverpool he immediately became underwhelming and hasn't done anything impressive since. Really sad to see.

    Joan Laporta

I don't agree at all. He got Pique to lower his wages drastically (and soon the other senior players too most likely), made a great few signings in Depay, Garcia (I know it's the meta to hate on him rn, but I believe he'll be very good for us long-term) and Emerson. He didn't cave in to Moriba's...

Come on... There is no universe in which we get Haaland lol. We aren't competing for players that every top club is after like Haaland/Mbappe for the next 5 years at least.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

They said he'll be in the squad this Sunday so I'd imagine he comes on as a sub.

    Kylian Muppet

I don't see it. I think he's done alright in the French league but largely been invisible in bigger competitions. Look at the Euros for example, he was an absolute flop this year. Idk I just genuinely see him as an extremely one-dimensional player who just has good pace and decent shooting...

    Kylian Muppet

Lol no, he's massively overrated imo. Probably the most overrated player in the world atm. He won't help them any more than Hazard has. I hope Madrid wastes 200 million on him, he'll be irrelevant in a few years.

The academy player must decide if he wants to go to the Premier League or wait to leave for free next...

From Premier League's official site  looks like they'll just have two number 7's

Winning the CL?? Lmao I honestly wouldn't be surprised if United doesn't even make it out of their group lol. In the Prem they're lucky to get top 4. Easily weaker than City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

I agree. Ole has no idea what he's doing and if he's actually gonna try to play Cavani and Ronaldo together it'll be an absolute joke with their counter attacking style lol

    Cr150

I mean... every single reputable journalist is saying it's basically a done deal already so I think they are going for him. I agree, it's a stupid move but it's happening.

I disagree completely. I think our transfer window is better than United's for example. They ignored their midfield problems and instead overpaid for Sancho cause he's English, now signing Ronaldo purely because of nostalgia. Varane was the only decent signing. We signed Depay on a free, Aguero...

I don't see them completely dropping Cavani, he's been great for them. But playing him and Ronaldo at the same time doesn't make sense, two players who don't have the legs to play fast counter-attacking football or press hard. You can have one player sitting in the opposition box but not two...

Will be fun to watch United lose all their big games as Cavani and Ronaldo walk back and forth at the pace of snails I guess
